It's not that I like arguing for the sake of arguing (though it is fun sometimes,) I'm just trying to get people to open up and break out of the "this console sucks because of X" mindset a little bit. The 360 has it's share of problems, too. Even non-owners know and fear the "red ring of death," which is exactly why I shelled out the $30 for an extended three year warranty. Time will tell if the money was worth it.

Last I heard Yahoo was still mulling over the bid proposal.

Owning a 360 and PS3 I would have to say any multi platform game I get for the PS3 just because I don't have to worry about it crapping out on me. Also free online play is nice as well.

Yeah, but the online play is highly inconsistent and is hardly streamlined.
That said, you've got me on the Red Ring of Death. I have one of the new one's that's supposed to have fixed the issue, but I don't put a lot of faith in someone saying they fixed a problem that hasn't had any time to show itself again.
That said, I got a 3 year complete warranty for it for $30.00, so I think I'll be OK. Sucks to be an original 360 owner, though.

I'll agree with you that x-box live is the better online at the moment in terms of what it offers but the online play has had a lot of set backs lately (i.e. having to give away a free x-box live game for it being down all the time). I play a lot of PS3 online and I have no issues with gameplay about 95% of the time, but there isn't much to PSN at the moment that is until HOME is released.
P.S. Microsoft has extended the warranty on the 360 to 3 years for free.

It's not just the online service, though. It's the integration of X-box live on quite literally every level of the system. Truthfully, when I bought the system, I was totally oblivious to that fact.
...Then I found out that you can run your own CUSTOM sound tracks for any game, either streaming it straight off the X-box hard drive, or off a computer on your network.
...And background chat and IM function with friends while watching movies or playing games. Any game or movie, not just some, but every game and movie, right out of the box.
...And customized gamer profiles that integrate into your msn profile, "offline downloading," live demos for virtually every product available, streaming media, pay per download movie rentals, and other stuff that is just built into the system, and immediately available.
To be frank - I didn't expect any of this. And if I had known about it before, I'm not sure it would have sold me on or off of the system. But actually using it is an entirely different thing, I couldn't picture what the console would be without it, so huge is its impact.
X-Box 360 may not come at a casual gaming price, but it's the best thing to happen to online gaming since broadband.
Edit: I said "oblivion" instead of "oblivious." Obviously, I have RPG on the brain...

Oh yeah, I did forget to mention that. Basically, if your ISP supports it, you'll be able to use your 360 as a TiVO soon.
To be honest, you need a very high-end broadband subscription to use it, though the service itself has no charge on Microsoft's side.

...lol...
Congratulations on winning... a Blu-Ray player! Since Sony dumped untold millions into winning the useless format war, you'll be watching a lot of movies on your brand new gaming system, seeing as how there aren't any real games for it.
Yet.
Don't worry. They're coming. Eventually...
