Ryu's doing what I'm doing -- going back and forth between games. ;o 'course, in my case, I've got FFXI, CoH/CoV, RO, and now Lineage II... (I rather like the changes they made to the gameplay with the Chronicle 3 update >_>)

Well, thankfully CoH and CoV aren't "demand-your-attention" games. You can pick 'em up and play for like a couple hours and be fine. I should probably log on RO again pretty soon, and Lineage is pretty much whenever I want as well.
FFXI's really the only "pay attention to me" game I have.

Well yeah, until about level 10... lol... then the grinding gets even worse than FFXI. On the bright side, since there's no gear in the game and your money is basically worthless - you don't have to spend time farming, so you can go right back to dancing under the giant atlas statue with all the other naked cat chicks and 12-foot-tall psychic robots. XD
That game, like most others I've seen, is tons of fun when you can get together with a group of friends... but man oh man, if you're looking for a "casual game" you're probably playing the wrong one. The grinding sets in after the first 6 hours of play... lol

*whine* I hate pay attention to me....Some days I wanna play FFXI, then start to an fall asleep. I need something to draw my attention back to it...
Nothing holds my attention like beating the living snot out of a birthday present monster, with two katars flying at nearly subsonic speed. heh

Free server you say? I downloaded the 15-day free trial from Gravity awhile back and played it for... one day (it's not that it wasn't good - I just had too much other stuff going on to afford it the learning curve.) Is this like... someone hosting the client on their own server or something? >>;

yup it's completly free. TOTALLY PRICELESS! costo-zilcho
Its hosted on rented servers (so you know they're not shittin you about quality gaming) There has been a lil lag, I mean Gael and I have lived through it. but for the most part the game is lag free.
Plus the benefit of a GREAT economy!
Nothing like FFXI's screwed up economy (which btw I come back to discover hasonly gotten worse! >.> leaping boots at 4 million? pssssh.)
