Personally I think its a hot idea; and I'd love to see it in action. It got out of hand when there were rules and restrictions imposed on a public forum, and imposed in an aggressive manner.

Again, I think its a hot idea, wish i could be involved, and it doesn't NEED to be PLD only btw; MNK burn, Mana Burn, Astral Burn parties all involve something else, and Think a RDM/WHM or BRD would definately help in the long run, but Ill go ahead and get out, since I'm not a PLD and therefore not welcome.

? I don't think it was said "PLD can't DD" it was more of "PLD has a hard time being a DD because of a lack of Job Ablitys/traits, but can use equipment to overcome said lack of Ablitys"

And being a drg/whm imbeds that feeling of "zomg he can't do that!" I love soloing things I "Shouldn't" be able to. ( I tend to die from it... but not from lack of trying, damn aggro/links)

ok i personal didn say to get out, but ppl act like if they think its wrong its wrong and if its right its right, the only thing i have to say is that if u guys want to see a pld dd in a normal pt, ill be on today and lets put all this shit to sleep. and really the only person im talking to that post on here is sosa and anybody that thinks it cannot be done, AND AGAIN I DONT HAVE BEEF WITH ANYBODY, shit lets just have fun, rl is already tough without a game begin the same way, and im 0/8 on airship if anyone want to help me out

Almost all of its traits or abilities focus on reducing damage or enhancing emnity. Also, I realize it's not as big a deal at higher levels, but Paladin has almost no accuracy options short of life belt and sniper rings at mid levels. PLD can put out damage, they're just not nearly as effective in that capacity as they are taking it.

I wasn't trying to exclude anyone from the LS, and I understand that when I said "only pld" I did that, for that I apologize. I did however want the useless comments of "you can't do that" or the endless 1 line posts to stop. If someone really wants to do something, don't make people that want to read 3 pages of "you can't do that" to get to a good idea. I wasn't offended, I just didn't want to keep reading pages and pages when their posts had 0 help.

I would like anyone who had a useful comment that wasn't of the job to post, like their feelings of maybe having a pld/brd or pld/rdm or pld/whatever and why, but I didn't get any of that. (LoL except for Kaifu who said it while I was writing this, but it would have to be Pld/Drg)Well, I think that horse was shot 2x.

Edit: DF, I made another thread where I said I only wanted imput from Plds who where interested in doing this to post and when an irrelevant post was made I asked if it was so hard to meet the requests of the OP, that thread is now gone.

I will make a thread on another site where we can talk about how to do this if you are interested.

I never said it couldn't be done. I agree with Code, it's a great idea! I'd tag along just to see how it faired. If anyone can do it it's the PLDs of EO. Good luck with it.

The suggestions Sosa had were great, and including your new refresh, all you'd really need is a steady cycle of flash, drinks, shield bash, etc. PLD/RDM would take your 'gas but give you phalanx and more str than whm I think? WHM would give -gas and -nas, /blm would.. um.. more mp? So would /smn? Hehehe.. Just to be strange I'd sub /drk.. low def but higher str and some int for drain and aspir.. and the other stun move.. >.> What else.. pld/brd gives ballad and some bonus songs.. /nin with a /thf sataing on him would be fun times.. maybe two /thf would work better for hate management if you want one main tank.

You should always try new things like Pld Burn.

If it wasn't for the adventurous spirit of Bsts our job would be virtually dead. Check out the Bst forums, and you'll see posts about Under level 70 Bsts vs. Guivre, Bst Alliance vs. Suzaku, 5 Bsts vs. Hakutaku, and there's also a CoP static that just beat promathia (all Bst).

Much of it is for fun, but some like Lords of the Beast on Shiva have taken it to the extreme. The key is to have fun while doing it.
