Screw it, I will find us a board we can actually post on Tork. I was joking around too, but after 2 pages I had about 2 lines of response which actually pertained to the topic. I tried making another thread, requesting that people not post irrelevancy, but they just ignored and posted anyway.

Naw it wasn't Mirowr, Bridger deleted it himself There isn't any need to find another board, just maybe ask nicely for people to keep it on topic.. but don't expect only plds to respond. It's like me making a Mithra onry thread and wanting to talk about the traits, of course someone non-mithra is gonna come in and say something, doesn't make it irrelevant. The whole point of a message board, I think, is to relay information and generate discussion. Try it again in On-Topic with less 'rules' about who can post and just a more accurate idea of what you want to discuss within the thread. My advice anywho

I can ask all I want, be as nice as possible, and still find 2-3 pages totally irrelevant info on a thread. When I'm trying to accomplish something, I don't want to waste time reading through it all.

When I make a duplicate thread, and specifically asking irrelevant stuff to be left out, and people still post irrelevant stuff it's really disheartening. That deleted thread had replies from 4 different people, 0 relevant.

I didn't really care if only Plds posted, i just didn't want tons of b/s from people that didn't even play the job like "you need a bard" - or "you can't do it that way" isn't worth reading when I already made up my mind to do it that way.

I'll just go find/make another board, and have people post there.

Well the point of their advice was to be .. helpful.. which most advice usually is. I believe that was the intent, not to knock you but to try putting something else in there at first maybe, to get the hang of it, or to throw in some ideas you might not have considered?

If you already have your mind made up, then fine, but it does seem a tad closed-minded. Ask in PM, make up a party and talk amongst yourselves.. ask for a private thread to be made (good idea)..

But don't get upset at people trying to help out. Maybe now that they see how serious you are about it they'll leave your thread to you and your plds.. But it's unfair to exclude people of your own ls when you're trying to get people *of* your ls to help you put something together.

I don't mean to keep repeating myself but it just sounds like you're offended that people posted in your thread and possibly questioned you.. you shouldn't be. It's all about helping and learning.
