These dudes in my class were showing me WoW today. That games looks fun as hell. I like some of the things about it. Like, the clock runs on r/l time. Crafting isnt just chance. SPELLS! for melee and shit. many many items to wear. O when you change clothes it acutally changes on the screen. So if you wear a cape you wear a cape. Mounts? Yes Please. You can call a mount <chocobo kinda thing> anywhere you are. You dont have to be bst to xp by yourself. The maps and towns look fucking awesome. PVP! IDK looks fun.
Bad idea: They are giving me a 10 day trial! lol. I dont know if I will install it or not. Almost afraid to. I love EO! I want to be with EO. EO is not in WoW. But it looks so fun! lol
Anyway, anyone here played it that can do some bad mouthing of it for me?

-you'll finish the game in two weeks and will take little to no satisfaction in accomplishing what you do there because it's too easy.

btw yeah.... i played it a little but my friend plays it non stop. he has so many characters and he levels them all to cap level and full equipment in just over a month.... yeah boredom you can have this.

I played for a while during our last drama... Not the most recent one, one before that. ANYWAYS I was level 9 in like 2 hours. It does have its strong points but is lacking in challenge.

lol. I know you can gain levels like mad, but one of the main highlights is that it might be a game better for someone who doesnt have everyday or even whole days during the week to play. Like to get awesome shit in FFXI I gotta be on ALL THE TIME. Whether to collect points, kill HNM's or do dynamis. I seen the "Relic" gear for WoW and you know how you get it? By killing people lol! There is this huge ranking system that takes you from a "Private" to like a Grand Marshal General or some shit like that. It also has more of a DnD feel to it. IDK, I'm a gamer, will always be a gamer and when I see something new, I like checking it out. I'm kinda like Koga in that aspect. I may run the 10 day trial just to see what kinda game it is or what I like about it. Maybe someday I'll be designing games and be able to bring things together I've seen to make a great game.
Anyway, I love EO and would miss EO to much. Its just a topic that I wanted to bring up and find out more info on if anyone knows.

Join the Proudmoore server (hint hint)... I really like the game. I know it can be easy, but it's sooooo gratifying. There are so many options and the battling is so much fun because everything is displayed on screen for you. Plus, in the next updates: Flying mounts! How can you beat that?
EO is <3 though. Just wish y'all were in WoW sometimes ^_^

Unfortunatly , this comp cant play FF but it does ok with WoW. Its what i have been doing since my PC crashed. Have not go into the PvP thing yet but just learning the game on my first character currently a 21 warrior.
anyone who is interested i am on the Kalecgos(PvP) server Alliance side go by the name of Warwagon.

WoW was fun for about a month, it just wasnt challenging at all. In 1 month i got 1 char to 60 and another few to 25+ just in casual playing. It's a good distraction but no where near as deep or fun game as FFXI. Although being able to solo as any job is kinda nice. I say give it a try but I know you will be back ;D
