Really hope it's not a copy/paste like so much of their recent work has been.

Similar art direction does not = similar graphics engine.

These images are leagues above and beyond FFXI technically speaking.

They are photographed...most likely phone photographed. These images have not been released to the public and these are most likely closed theatre, private personel type images if in fact they are SE's new MMO.
