Well I'm pleased to announce EO is back and once again back in full spread. due to the new Sept update, everyone is very excited about. 1. LvL Sync- all lvls of job can now lvl with all jobs at lvl 10+ meaning 5 lvl 75 and play with a lvl 10. and get full xp or merits. simply put, Lvl sync is a command under the party menu, select player in pt who is the lvl master, everyone will gimp down to that lvl and yeah pting. ~^~LVL10 merit party in the Dunes "Yes, Please~^~ read up in game or www.playonline.com2. no longer carring seals in inv, all given to the orb guy in port jeuno for carrying. 3. alot of followship upgrades. dont care about. Time to come back to FF my family! |

Locke, they're gonna need a dynamis puller in a month or two if photon pulls this off.

I'm back only because of EO and Level Sync. I'm glad to live through EO again...Great "social" EO shell would be nice. I definately don't want to get back into the swing of endgame LS stuff..but i'm here to help anyone who needs it.
I'm down for dynamis even a sky run or two here and there.

Reading about the level sync feature was really depressing for me. I was actually already aware of it, but it would have saved me a lot of hassle if I had been released, say, a year or two ago.
I'm afraid it's too little too late for me... my account is technically still active (although not logged into since the mog bonanza announcements) but I would never be able to play the game in the same capacity I did before.
I just don't have that kind of time anymore, unfortunately.
I'm also kind of happy where I am now. I miss the old orphans a lot, but I also started raiding and am working on gearing up so I can actually help out the "big kids" with endgame, something I've come to enjoy a great deal more in WoW than in FFXI.
I may pop on and say hi, though. I always enjoyed leveling jobs, and that's something that can be done pretty easily in downtime. In fact, it was pretty much the only thing I did in that game... >.>;;;;

man I miss coffer key hunting
I remember EO's 1st coffer key raid, it was in Crawler's Nest and we were mostly 50s with Miruuk considered as a high level in his Vermillion Cloak, and Evona was even there.

Sie. I totaly understand where you coming from. Your right theres alot of stuff that could have been changed in FF, but the problem is they need things to be at there worse, before they will make it better.
I will give this to SE tho, when these changes need to be done, they are very creative in improving it so much to cover all the loose ends.
Sending time on this game hasn't allows been my strongest siut either, RL, kids, Wify, Work, but I'm in a position now that I'm able to come back to it Full time and Skittles too.
I'm doing everything possible to bring back my family, if alot of people can't I really truly understand, but I would be an ass if I didnt try.
I just wanted to give you guys the heads up that EO is back, and thanx to SE with lvl sync, its going to be a much tighter ls cause now we wont need the outside unless we like them, or think they can help the family.
Rome's working on possiby merging his ls with EO, LM's ls is coming to give EO a try out, so were growing fast cause right now all we need are ppl, we dont havn't requirements any more, its going to be easy to run partys and events now( CoP, sky,sea.) where we'll get in trouble is like dynamis runs where the amount of ppl required could hurt us.
I'm trying my hardest to get us all together again, if you guys can't thats ok.
plus if your on other servers.. they can move you back, just cry abuse and they will move you.
but I'm done with my tangent. cause I can keep this going for a long time and make it all mushy..
just come back to us if you can thats all I can say about it.

I always enjoyed leveling.
Realistically, I may be on to say hi every once in awhile, and to level it up with some old friends. I will probably never be able to do endgame content again, unfortunately. I don't have a lot of time to do endgame in the WoW side of EO, and we're hurting for members right now. I just wanted to be clear that if I come back, it won't be a permanent thing. :/

I'm glad you guys are enjoying yourselves. But as I said here, people are trying to run a raiding guild here. We have an expansion soon and instead of getting ready for it, people are quitting and disappearing at an alarming rate.... Losing a few more to FF would only make things worse. You want to post pics in the FFXI SS section, np. You want to browse or post in the FFXI section on the bottom by all means, go ahead. You can use that section as much as you want. Trying to lure WoW Orphans back to FF is rude and it may hurt their raiding efforts. So please don't. Thanks. |

Whats amusing to me is how much everyone new to EO WoW and everyone that was in EO FFXI thinks that EO WoW has tons of FFXI players in it.
It doesnt really. About a dozen, several part time or non hardcore.
I will say Ive thought about starting up FFXI again from time to time, then I laugh and continue on with WoW. Going back to the 'old home' is NEVER as good as you hope it will be, nostalgia will always be more attractive then the real thing. I believe you can never truely go home, it changes, and rarely for the better.
Good luck in FFXI, it was a blast while it lasted.
