I called to have my character restored, so I don't have to go through that salvage application process. It'll take up to a week for my char to return. Damn they asked a lot of questions! "What time on January 12th did you delete your character?" Sheesh.
So I created Lockejvbrb, but I couldn't get onto Titan! I decided to play around on Bahamut (where I ended up) while I waited for someone to get me a world pass.
People on Bahamut are very friendly! I had 3 people ask me if I needed help. And nobody tried to steal my bees. Ding!
I decided I would head to Jueno on Bahamut to see what the economy is like there. But about halfway through the Marsh, Devant sent me the World Pass number. Screw that, I'm off to Titan! I figured it was only fitting I leave my mark on Bahamut, with a you-know-what shout, and a death:
On to Titan! It was about that time I heard that Miruuk lost 10 million gil >< Details in EO's forums. Don't quit Miruuk >< So since nobody is ever in Bastok anymore, I headed to Jueno. It is very difficult using the notebook keyboard to control my character. I have to hold down a function key and press 'U' to move right, '8' is up, 'K' is south, etc. The arrow keys to move the camera are in a weird spot, and it's just a huge pain in the ass. So anyhow, I die in the Marsh to a Goblin, and some PLD who just finished Ballista raised me. Lockess was on the way to raise me, but we met up in Roranberry for an escort. I died again from a Gobbue!
With some more help, I made it to Jueno without dying a third time...
It was great to see old ED friends ^^ Lesterp (ITV) and Tempus (EO) gave me their respective pearls. And yes - that really is Tempus in full AF! Seriously, it's not a photoshop.... :twisted:
Was good to chat with Avanarius again, he always takes time out to stop by:

And Av demonstrated his 96 alchemy skill, with a Poison Knife +1...
So I became inspired, and quickly levelled my goldsmithing to 100! Errr wait, maybe that wasn't me.
Ran into Lockess again before I logged. Pimpin in that Scorpion Harness!
And here is the end of Lockejvbrb's FFXI adventures. He is deleted, and will never be back, as I have to leave all my content ID's open for the restore (I dunno which is which, and the restore can't happen if the ID is occupied). Not bad for a last look ^^
So Lockejv will be restored within the next week. AFTER WHICH I WILL CANCEL MY CONTENT ID AND ENROLL IN AN MBA PROGRAM BEFORE PLAYING. (But maybe just 1 Kirin fight before then?)
