yea..graphics are booty. Its the lowest resolution for any 360 game ever put out...its native like 520p...ofcourse your tv and 360 scales it up to 1080i....but its native format is what decides alot of its clarity. 480i is standard definition..so its almost standard def upscaled.

I <3 the star ocean series... But I'm having a little trouble getting into SO4. My main issue is the emo childish sobbing rants the main char (and some of the other chars) go on every so often. Not only is it overly corny, but it's annoying enough to just skip over. And quite frankly the battle system is not enough to carry this game without the story. The graphics look quite good to me, although there seems to be an issue with the gamma that makes everything in the game look either too bright or too dark. I've read up on it and it seems that changing the tv's vid settings might fix it, but I broke the remote for my TV QQ. I played for PS3 and finished. Worth playing, and I thought the ability to travel to different planets as you wished was a great touch. The characters were much too cliche however, and most of them were either annoying or forgettable. I did like Meracle however, and pretty much kicked the games ass with her. I didn't do the bonus dungeons because I didn't feel like spamming X-Claw for 20 hours. I played through the game pretty thoroughly, and got multiple character endings, but was only at 35% or so with trophies. I think this is the hardest game to get 100% for on the PS3. Thousands of hours...

I cant remember if I sold this or not.
I literally just shut off the game when the main char starts crying when he blew up that planet. It was so bad lol.
