Posted in a thread on alla. It caught my attention because it was talking about Drk AND Mnk.
At lv 65+66 Drk becomes a major DD with GS and Scythe and Cross Reaper is 2 hits and Spinning Slash is 1 hit which means they are 100% Tricked with hate. So Drks can go all out with damage and kinda replace THF in the party. DRK + MNK in PT would be perfect other than RNG + MNK DD in parties at that level. Both DRKs and MNKs will start the SC and end it with major damage with Dragon Kick >> Spinning Slash or Spinning Slash >> Dragon Kick for Light when the DRK is capping GS first in XP parties this is why either the DRK or MNK has to have both THF and WAR sub so that the one with War sub is the starter and Voker and the other Tricks it on the pally. So don't forget to level THF and WAR sub if you are DRK or MNK it will benefit you so you can have one person as hate control and the other as temporary tank for your Light Skillchain. But for Darkness the DRK can chain with the PLD of the party for Swift Blade >> Cross Reaper with THF sub of course while the MNK solos Dragon Kick.

I wouldnt even consider it a "kinda." Don't get me wrong dude, you will do sick damage with SATA > Spinning Slash.

Anyhow, MBA progress - which is one of the several reasons I walked away from FFXI: I started studying for my GMAT exam and it's going well so far. I have the next week off work to study for it, test is next Wednesday. After the exam I need to either retake the GMAT (which = suck because it costs $250) depending on score, or start working on my application should I do well.
For the app I have to write a stupid essay, submit my transcripts, and have my references submit recommendations. Depending on how they like me, I may need to interview before the MBA committee, which I pray to fucking Altana doesn't have to happen. That would suck worse than if Miruuk didn't raise me that one time I delevelled to 59.
If all goes well, I would be accepted into the program in April, which would give me 4 months before classes start in August. I'd like to play some FFXI, hit 75, beat up on Kirin, and maybe do some goldsmithing during this time. I'm trying to use FFXI to motivate me to get enrolled asap. Sooner I do that, sooner I can play.
When school starts, I'm spending 30 grand out of my own pockets to get an MBA; FFXI isn't appealing enough to shit that kind of money away. If it's even remotely a problem I'll just do what I did in January and delete for good. Otherwise I'll just play 1-2 days a week (die-namis?), or just cancel my content ID during the spring/fall semesters.
At the same time I have to focus at work, and not read and obsess about FFXI stuff on the clock all day, which I still do more than I should sometimes. I was having a rough time with my job for awhile, which is I think why I got so carried away. My boss got her wrist slapped for being an ASSSS to her employees, and things have been going much better this year. That, combined with looking forward to school has allowed me to have goals other than FFXI stuff, should keep me outta trouble. If not, ~delete~ forever.

Hell dude, remember I divorced my wife cause I wanted whats best for her, not cause I dislike her at all. And yes, while I agree with markus that you post some really cool links... You are spending too much time obsessing about a game you arent even playing. I'd love to see you back in game, cause I'm actually getting to the level we can do cool shit together.
