So I'm a Service and Modifications technician for a Cell phone company. I'm ASC for Sprint/Nextel, and certified to work on Motorola, Nokia, and SonyErricsson, not to mention I've experience with / have been certified for Samsung and Seimens (not sure if those have expired yet). Anyway, on a daily basis, I see alot of phones, and lately alot of them have been camera phones. Here's my question: What is up with people using pictures of themselves as wallpapers?!The phone I just got in had this image on it when I opened it. (hope this is legal hehe) ((btw, I know some of you know where I work and the surrounding area's, if by chance you know this guy, lets keep this under your hat, ok? ^^)) Some of the stuff I run into on a daily basis. hehe Is it an ego thing? hehe, seriously, wtf? _Code

hehe, trust me, hot chick wallpapers happen all the time, as well as "Candid" photo's too.... Should one actually go through people's pictures on the phones when they get worked on, but that would be bad.
>.>
<.<
ahem....
Anyway. PM me with your Cell phone number and your Direct Connect number and i'll see what I can do for you.

Send me your Email I'll email the zip over.
Your a CSR for Sprextel?
excuse me for a moment.
FUCK YOU AND FUCK EVERYTHING YOUR ABOUT, YOU FUCKS READ FROM A SCRIPT, FILL MY CUSTOMERS HEAD WITH LIES, MISINFORMATION, AND NOTHING AND I HAVE TO FUCKING FIX IT!!!! FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!
there.....better. We can be friends now Tempus.
You really wanna know what happened to the network? Nextel happened to it, and all the phones out now were built for a system that was never made and never will be made. thats what happened. Then sprint bought them out, and now its not gonna get fixed in the same way. Hence the "Switch to sprint from nextel and we'll pay your cancellation/activation fee's."
Should be fixed by Black friday, if you wanna know more i'll get into it deeper.

I have Sprint.... I've had them for like 8 years.... I've had some problems with my phone that I had to go to the BBB to get fixed, but the service isn't too bad. I would love some inside bs about these companies. Do dish!

I had sprint and I fucking HATED it. I went ahead and cancelled when they were not charging a cancellation fee due to a court order pending a law suit. I now have T-Mobile and I like it so very much better. They even gave me a loaner phone for free when I needed to get mine replaced. Sprint never offered that shit. Anyways.. ya, and T-Mobile gets service at Casinos, sprint doesn't.

Sprint is a completely different company in the last 6 monthes. Beyond the purchase of Nextel, sprint now can locally use Verizon towers, giving sprint technically, the largest network of any cellular carrier. Ask Nauren, I used to endlessly make fun of sprint, but now, they're actually pretty good.
T Mobile is alittle touchy-er, they're a case by case carrier. Certain area's they're the best available, and for international travel they're in the top two if not the best. In PA area they aren't that great and you can't go any further west then say Chadd's Ford PA or your outta luck. Basically most of the industry refer's to T-Mobile as a "Coastal Carrier". Your on the coast line, your golden. Any bit inland....good luck.
Cingular was my first phone, then I get a free Nextel through work... and I still choose to pay for Cingular. IMO for me they have the best all around coverage, as well as good voice quality (Verizon will never be able to match the voice quality of a non CDMA carrier (CDMA=Verizon / Sprint)) not to mention reasonable data speeds and not a bad phone selection for the US. (Personally my Cingular phone was imported, so I dont use a US Cingular phone, but the US cingular's aren't that bad.)
Nextel, 4 years ago was the best availble here. Their Direct Connect feature, and realistic call quality couldn't be beat (this was when Cingular was first dabbling in GSM coverage, which was less then perfect). Not to mention excellent coverage. However, in the last year + nextel has released phones for a system that was never built, only planned out. Then with the company changes the network they had planned wont be built. This leads to angry customers, problems that aren't identified correctly, and false promises. In all actuality the problems with Nextel now are self induced, and sadly, Sprint will fix it. Guess I shouldn't make fun of the company til I see the end result >.>
AT&T were Cingular's little brother company, always nipping at the heels of the good companies. I personally had AT&T for a while, when they first launched GSM. Only got it because they had AMAZING deals at the time, so I tried them out. The best thing they could have done was merge with Cingular. It only made Cingular that much stronger.
....
Why am I on this rant again? hehe
