Hey all

Been in school for 7 weeks now, doing pretty well so far. Classes are Drawing I, 2-D Design, 3-D Design, Art History I, and a Resources class on Friday. Been sketching my own stuff occasionally too, started last week.



Used Adobe Illustrator to touch it up. Haven't used Photoshop much so not sure what all it can do, my free trial ended a while back, but Illustrator seems great for transferring hand drawn sketches to the PC.


Was playing World of WarCraft but decided to get back into City of Heroes again. Gonna try out City of Villains soon as the Stress Test starts, automatically get into it since I subscribe to Fileplanet. CoV will add bases to the game that you have to defend and think you can attack others too. Few other games I wanna try out are D&D Online, Pirates of the Burning Sea (PBS), and maybe Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. Possibly a few others too. Still looking for the perfect game. PBS has great character customization from what I've seen, similar to CoH in variety and where clothing/armor is just to wear as fashion, not as defensive gear.

Got a new Video Card, ATI Radeon X800 XL, 256MB GDDR3. Big improvement over my old GeForce 4 MX card. Also bought a 250GB external hard drive.

Been kinda busy with school lately too and haven't been able to do much of anything else.

That's all I have to say for now. Hope you guys are still having fun.

heyas Koga! lol need to check out a game for me when it comes around to beta or w/e an let us know about it. its called Tabula Rasa.. loooks really freakin awsome.. course unless its free to play lol i doubt i will get into it

Illustrator is the shit! Gradient meshes and blending modes are all you need. Looks good though dude. I'm gonna try and see if the Nazi's and MSUM will let me take some drawing classes even though Im not an "ART" major. I hate sitting down to make something and my artistic imagination just not kicking in. Anyway, when you find the perfect game let me know. Be sure to tell everyone else to, as they will have to come with if it is to be the perfect game ^^. GL Koga and miss your monk ass kicking good ness.

Seen Tabula Rasa on the PlayNC website but never checked it out before, looks like a great game. Can't currently find anything that says when beta starts or if it has started.

Just realized that Richard Garriott (a.k.a. Lord British) is the guy behind Tabula Rasa.
