hey guys,
just wanted to say hi. it's only tuesday and i'm having another fun filled week (end sarcasm). I crashed my laptop (again). Yep, second time this year. I did it really well, but not as well as the last time when my hd just died and could not be resuscitated at all. Anyway. Thank god FFXI isn't on this comp anymore. I mainly use this one for surfing and homework. I play FFXI on Frankenputer, which consists of like 8 left over computers and a wicked video card.
Anyway, Hi and miss you guys. My boyfriend is leaving tomorrow morning for Texas for 5 days (managers conference). So, I'll be moping around til Sunday. Probably see me on Friday night. Give a /tell if ya do.
BTW, if you didn't know, a "Meeka Moment" is when I do something retarded in game... such as the time my friend helped me look for a chest in Ordelle's and I warp 2ed myself instead of sending him on his way home. Meeka moment! Then the time I thought I had 6exp left tnl, and someone took me to get it, but it turned out it was more like 2,000..... /wave Jonathan LOL Yeaaaaah... Meeka moment.... And I consider this laptop bungle another Meeka moment.... Children, when a program says it is incompatible with Windows XP, please listen to it and do not try to install it. Otherwise you lose the past year of your life lol And always, always, always back up your shit!

Sorry Meeka.  If it makes you feel any better, I have those moments too, most often in RL. Aidar calls them "blond moments" for me though. No offense to all you non-idiotic blonds out there. |

meeka, i've just had one of those moments.... I'VE LOST MY MORION TATHELUM. i might have loaned it to krylancelo when i loaned him my rings (well, corran's rings), but i can't remember - it's been like 2 weeks. kry, if you're reading this, please send me a pm and let me know if i loaned this to ya. i'm freaking out here! i'm only 58 so i've got quite some time before i can use the phantom waiting in my mule's inbox. /cry. i'm so upset!!!!
meeka, don't worry about the compy - i broke my laptop's screen 3 days after i got it. it cracked all down the center. everyone does stupid shit - i'm just a walking example of it so i can empathize with you... lol. i hope everything gets better!

We all have them times...it happens. lol I can't count the how many times I've killed my computer.
Oh and guys if you want to hear a really stupid moment, check this out.
Dynamis-Sandy last night, yeah we won killed the boss, easy cake. Screen moving so fast with crap that I don't see peeps talking. We farm a bit, I die lose a few k in exp, but hey I just won dynamis so didn't really care......................
Leave dynamis and wonder, "Where the fu*(@( is my CS!" I send a /tell to Markus asking if there should be a CS. He says, "Did you check the ? ? ? after boss." back of my head I'm thinking,"You got to be kidding me right? This really isn't happening to me again?" In short....
I'm stupid as hell and lost dynamis....that is a moment ; ;

I think we all have our moments... But some how do you ever feel like you have more moments than others >.<; I do lol...
Anyways hope you get it up and running soon. And a good thing it wasnt ur FF computer it would of been fun reinstalling =p lol....
I kill computers quite often... from stress. Thank god for external hardrives! knock on wood.... hope that doesnt die >.<

Thanks guys ^^ Much <3 to you all. My laptop is running, but I lost all my email and bookmarks. I am trying not to be too devestated.
I'm sorry to hear about all of your own personal Meeka Moments LOL I'm sure I have more to come, and there are a ton I haven't talked about. But for tonight, I must go to class. I managed to avoid it last night, but I shouldn't keep cutting or I'll never want to go.

I've got a recent one.
Levelling whm in Qufim, so I can save money on oils and powders. Got done and me and another guy are running back.
Decided to play with my new toy, Sneak. So I cast it, and go stand on top of a weapon. After a bit, the other guy "cast sneak on me plz." So I open up my magic menu and cast it.
The weapon delayed attacking me for a bit. I think he was giving me time to revel in my own stupidity.

Well.....This was some time ago in my noobish days (no it wasn't last week). Anyways..I saw a guy tag Leaping Lizzy but he wasn't fighting her...looking a little closer I saw he already had the boots...well...he messaged me and said if I take the drop..he will split it with me. I agree being a noob...and broke...we kill...get drop...I lot...he doesn't pass...we zone.....Leaping Boots dissappear forever.....ah well....how I lament.

I've done the same thing with the warp Meeka. I was in a pty and I was supposed to warp a member to get a replacement, so I cast Warp II.....and I'm sitting there and all of a sudden my screen says Downloading Data. I was like, "oh shit". lol I think I did that once after that too lol. So don't feel bad

Awww guys lol I'm half laughing because they are all things I've done and half crying because... again... they are all things I've done lol My favorite worst thing that I always do is when I'm playing WHM, I always heal the wrong person... like 3 times in a row lol The tank is near death and I'm like , here you go blm, have some more HP!!! That's why I haaaaaaaaate playing WHM!!
ps - markus, that is the worst one yet >< Did I mention the time I was playing blm and was supposed to cast escape and ended up warping myself out?? ^^b that went over reaaaaaaaaaaal well lol

ok, ok, so here's a pretty bad/good one. during the G3 run in beadeaux i got a bit turned around. well, rlaph was suppossed to kite the ruby quadav to zone so we could get in there, get the seal, then escape out. well, as i previously stated, i got a bit turned around. i thought i saw broken run in one direction, so i casted sneak and invis and what not, ran into grab what i thought was the mute (so i wouldn't get cursed) and lo and behold - who am i to run into except the true sight bastard himself. needless to say, i kited the bitch for the group, died, and luckily didn't take anyone else down with me. we got through the door we needed to get through, though and rlaph kited like he was suppossed to, broken raised me and all was right with the world - except an insane sense of shame and embarrassment scrawled across my face... lol, so that's my ingame meeka moment. but my worst irl meeka moment is stated above about the laptop breakage 3 days after i got it. ; ; it was a bad day needless to say.
