Well, as we all know I haven't been online much, so here's what's going to happen because I can't see FFXI in any of the near future...
I'm quitting for now (forever?)
Final playtime will end up around 70 days 5 hours for me. I've lost the month of February about 2.5 times.
I've given a lot of magey stuff and more valuable items to Flyingsnow and Brokensword to use. The rest of my valuable items are going to Tempus to use. I'm not liquidating, because it wouldn't bring that much really when I have friends that could use the items.
However, FFXI has been fun for me and I've loved being a Sackholder and being here for this linkshell as much as I could be, but I'm giving it up.
Miruuk/Krazi ->>> I loved you guys. There were times that you guys and Beren were my only friends on this server and we've stuck it out since I had maybe 10 days of playtime. Unforgettable fun and laughs.
Markus ->>> You let me help lead this linkshell and that's investing a lot of trust in me and you formed a great shell under your leadership. I wish you and the rest of the sackholders the best of luck in leading this linkshell in whatever direction you all decide.
Rivero ->>> Though you may never read this, I watched you get so much more mature as time passed in this game and I watched you handle new situations in a more administrative way every day. I'm glad that you eventually got sackholder dude and I'm sorry you had to go from it.
Tempus/Itachi/Mirowr ->>> Firm friends I really made once I was in EO. I have seen you guys struggle through the melee waiting game and now you're both 75. Amazing. Mirowr I hope you don't let FFXI take away too much college fun (I didn't). Itachi good luck dude, you have a lot of motivational rage -- I like that ^^. Tempus I hope you post your picture some day.
RL Friends (Broken/Aegnor/Fly/Beren) ->>> Not goodbye for us, but I'm glad we all called Titan our playspace together -- sorry you got the shaft on items Aegnor.
To the rest of the EO people ->>> Some of you knew me well, some of you didn't. I was keeping an eye on you whether you knew it or not. In a phrase -- This is a family. When you don't help people but want help, you're that annoying ass aunt that nobody likes. Don't be that way. Be there for each other. Be a bunch of brothers and help each other out when it's needed instead of waiting on somebody else to pick up your slack. Take the time to get to know each other, growing too fast means cliques and dysfunctionality. Growing too slow will mean that you can't get all the things done that you want to. Just make sure that no matter how fast the linkshell grows, that you learn at least one thing about each person that comes into the linkshell. EO, I love. RDM, I love. FFXI, I'm not really gonna miss. I wish you all the best of luck in your FFXI/EO future.
As far as I go. Sooner than I know it, I'll be a doctor. Actually, I'll start taking care of people before the amount of time passes that I've owned FFXI and had it installed on my computer. Life without ffxi, means video games of other kinds, but no more time for mmorpg's for me.
*Best wishes*
Justin
Ps. My boards time will be more limited now too, so if you want to get my attention, send a pm or send me an email, it's on the site.
