Yea, I think its about time I left FFXI......... Its a lot of issues really not justwith the game itself to tell you guys the truth. The only reason really I even play the game now is becuz of EO .... I mean I dunno I could be over reacting but I feel left out of a lot of things lol. Its like the higher i get the less worthwhile i feel to the LS. I remember when I hit 50 most of you guys were around mid 60s and now that ive hit 65 everyone is 75 and doing gods and such . Maybe im just ranting i dunno but I just dont think i can keep up with the LS and be a part of the SeeDs thing. Without EO what do i have i mean exp pts? Hell if thats all FFXI was i would quit in a heart beat. Also I feel being a rng i cant help the LS much really nemore on gods anyway not being able to chi blast or SATA or blm or smn or support jobs ... I dunno I just feel like im gimping the LS and I can really only play on weekends anyway now because of college life. Well I haven't decided on a final decision yet but I was just letting you guys know. And if i did quit my 1.4 mil would go to the LS bank i guess and all.

Ya lots of people have struggled with balancing real life and game life... Ultimately wanting to advance in r/l is greater then wanting to advance in game.... Its SE's fault for making the game this way. School really is important... Do w/e is best for you. And if you wanted to stay, sky and 70 arent that far away >.>

sorry to hear that glad. i, too, know how you feel about being left out b/c you don't have the time to play. moreover, i understand feeling like you're no longer a part of our once tight-knit family. if these are truly large enough reasons to quit, then by all means, do quit. however, you are very close to sky and getting in on all of those runs. it may take you longer to get there than you're used to, but trust me, you can get there. you are a good member to the shell, and i hope you stay.

RL > FFXI
Especially for first couple years in college. If you can balance everything enough to stay in FFXI, good. If not, just remember while you are giving something up now, you will be gaining ever so much more down the road with that degree. Take it from a college drop-out, do what you need to do to get that degree. We all understand that its a hectic time in your life.

Glad, I've made that decision a few times already. I've finally come to a balance where I play when I want to play and check the boards to see if I can help on important runs. Other than that, RL always comes first. Playing on the weekends is really not that bad. It's when all the action is. And skipping a week and a half doesn't seem so bad when you do play for a really good session. But I definitly agree with Tempus and GET THAT DEGREE!! You'll feel so much better that you did when you are done.
