Does anyone know anything about PHP? I'm taking a class on it and omg it blows nutz! I hate programming to begin with and web programming is twice as boring. I may need some help with some coding questions and was just wonderin if there is anyone out there that has any php experience that would be willing to deal with my nOObineSS.

I kind of do, but I haven't played with PHP in like forever. The last time I messed with it was a few years back when I was running my own gaming server. So I may be able to help you with some of your questions ^^

I know the ED site is partly php but locke told me that it was just a package he purchased so i dont think he did any real codin himself. I may be wrong though.

PHP isn't as user friendly to beginners as ASP, Microsoft's answer to server side scripting. I have coded webpages in PHP, PERL, JSP, ASP; just about everything except Cold Fusion and .net. As far as help goes, sure - just ask me on the ED site. It's the only site I check every day. The ED site is a free, fully customizable content management system called PHP Nuke. |
