Hello my name is Markus and I would like to join Eternal Darkness. Koga told me about this Linkshell. Koga and I used to play UO together. My younger brother was in Koga'a guild in UO. That's how I met Koga. All my UO characters were named after Final Fantasy characters. So you can imagine that I'm a FF fan. One game I am no longer a fan of is...UO.
So one day I decide to save some of my old UO friends. I go on ICQ and who's online but unavailble? Koga. So I send him a message anyway. I pretty much tell him that UO sucks and he would love FF. His N/A message said: Busy playing FF. I was a level 26 Rdm on Caitsith but since Koga has like a 45 mnk...I'm now a 19 Whm, 17 Blm on Titan.
I know that I'm not level 30 but I'm pretty humble and take advice well. Koga already gave me my pearl, but I won't put it on until I send some of you /tell's. I am really anxious to equip the pearl though...People keep asking me to join there linkshell and I have to keep explaining why I can't.

Hi, I will begin by telling you a little bit about myself and what I do. I am currently a 30 RDM and 15 WHM. I just became a mentor and a member of the EDJr linkshell. I plan on pursuing RDM and possibly RNG as well. I already have all 4 pieces of my RSE and the ever-important RDM spell, Dispel. I am Rank 3, Hume, and from San d Oria. As can be seen on the EDJr forum, I am currently attempting to arrange a Rank 4 raid this week. I am very close with Beren, Surze, and Landrakor. Just like them, I am looking for a linkshell that I can help to grow and that can provide an environment that is conducive to growth in this game through helping others. I have spoken with Evona recently and I would be more than happy to speak with or fight with any of you to get to know all of the admins better. Thank you for considering my application and I hope to see you in game :O)

Hey everyone!
I was first introduced to this linkshell through my roommate Krazi. He had just recently been accepted and I was luckily able to get a view of what this linkshell embodies, the community effort. Its awesome. The choco races, the fund raising, the raids, etc. But all of this is only accomplished by helping each other out. In other words, what a gamer receives from this link is only measured by the effort he/she puts into the game. And I believe I can add to ED's community effort.
I am a male Taru, Rank 2 (soon to be rank 3, need to go kill dragon). Hailing from my home country of Windhurst.
Currently, my jobs are: 31Whm/20Blm/3Thf
As for my short term goals, I would like to get my Whm up to level 36. I believe this could be a great asset for the link. At this level, raises and teleports to Dem, Mea, or Holla are only a /tell away. Just ask (I always get a thrill from raising the dead, woot woot). And for any ED or EDjr member's money is no good for such services . My alchemy craft is a work in progress at this point.....still at a relatively low level. Nonetheless, this craft is something I want to pursue and will work at. If there's an item within my power to make, its done. If you have the materials for an item, its done. I don't view this craft as a means to exploit products for cash, but more as a way to benefit everyone as a whole.
In the future, I look forward to completing my summoner quest. This job, paired up with the blm or whm, will be my main focus in the game. I'm also interested in playing around with the bard. My biggest difficult at this point is deciding to lvl a rdm or not. From there I could try different combinations between the rdm, blm, whm, sum, and bard. Who knows........
If there's one person who knows me the best in real life as well as ingame, that man would be Krazi. I've known Krazi for a good part of this past decade. And we've partied several times since the PS2's release.
That should wrap things up for my application. If anyone has questions or concerns, feel free to post them on this thread or drop me a line ingame. My door is always open.

K this really sux. I had the bed in my house just like the first one but when tally was done and Bastok took the lead there was no quest. After some researching I think I found the it is actually fame related as well as world influence. Soooooooo... I did some more quests repeatable and new ones and my fame went up a level. I think it is at 4. I'm not sure the exact amount completed but the people recognize what I am doing for thier country. So it looks like I have to wait till the next tally to see. If anyone has any info for me on this quest that is imperitive for me to know before next tally so I am guaranteed to get it so I can pass this bed along please let me know. I think I am set now.

Hey guys. My name is Beren and I am interested in joining the ED linkshell. I have had the same LS since I began playing, but it has not grown to the qualities I want in a LS. I am looking not only for help in gameplay, but I want to be able to help others with missions/quests/lvling etc. The reason I began playing FFXI is the ability to interact with realworld people. I play quite often and I have partied with many of you. Officers I have interacted with include Lesterp, Koga and Ionis. My roommate, Surze, is also a member. I am willing to do my part and adhere to the rules and regulations established. My main job is Lvl 42 WHM and I have a Lvl 20 BLM, Lvl 10 SMN, Lvl 10 WAR and every other job is open, but at Lvl 1. I like to fish, cook and goldsmith, but I am not high lvl in any synthesis yet. I am Rank 5 and of the Elvaan race with all my RSE Armor. I hope to hear from you guys soon!

Mirowr - Mithra (Small) Bastokan Rank 2 Current Jobs & Levels: Thief 36 -- EDIT: Thief 37 Warrior 19 Red Mage 11 Ninja 12 Ranger 12 I intend to be a RNG/NIN, but I'm taking my thief to 45 for Treasure Hunter II so i can farm fast and easy. Once i get the cash from that I'll start woodworking my own arrows, powders, and whatever else I need. I also intend to fool around with DRK, PLD, WHM, BLM, and maybe DRG. But RNG/NIN is the goal for now. I just did the quest for Utsusemi last week with my brother, (36 whm) constantly casting sneak on us.. scariest quest i've done so far. Anyways... I've heard good things about this particular LS and I often see many of its members roaming Vana'Diel. I'm looking for a linkshell that has an at least decent web page (needless to say this website is a lot better than decent) and active members. I'd be happy to participate or monitor (as the case may be), any events that we'd organize or partake in. I get tired of those who take the game way too seriously very fast, and I just like to play and have fun. I like to help out other players when I can and it's always more fun partying with people you know. I feel kind of silly applying for an LS but this one seems very promising. 4. Explain how you found out about our shell. If you know people in the shell, listing them may help you get approval much sooner. I've seen alot of the LS members running around, and I met Kalvatar yesterday in the Crawler's Nest and we got to talking and I asked about EternalDarkness, he gave me the website and I was really impressed. 5. To be approved, you must receive approval from 3 admins, and they must post their approval in your post. Hope I get your approval!
