always thought BLM's didnt do enough damage.. they are freakin glass cannons they needed a lil more to make up for the fact that pee wee hermin could kick their ass.

reasons why blm's shoulda done a little more

1) Spells cost to damn much(as in power cost/mp/sp w/e the hell FFXI uses i forget ;p)
2) They die too easy
3) They dont do squat for melee
4) Spells cost to much -- heheh this one jus had to be said 2x. i mean really the damage to power usage jus sucked
5) most npcs defended too often so only ended up doing 1/2 damage anyhow

Well they need to fix BLM somewhat. Its just wrong that 6/12/18 or whatever number can breeze through stuff that normal partys have a very tough time doing. The Ark Angels ZM is one of them, and several KSBCNM and stuff.
One idea I have is that monsters gain some magic resistance everytime a magic is used at them, but this would destroy BLM in long drawn out fights... maybe make it so melee attacks will reverse it or something, I dont know.
