chicken dont fly or do they... ; Chickens can fly but only small distances and usually they can't get more than say 10-15cm off the ground. But they can fly faster than they can run so if they're startled you'll see them pop up a small distance from the ground and fly a few meters away. I believe they can also glide small distances so if they're up high they can kinda jump off and glide down to the ground. Also, they're tasty. ;-)

I mean, I've seen "Chicken Run" and they had to build a flying machine since they couldn't fly. And Chicken Run doesn't lie, it's pure fact.

I'd throw a chicken down from my apartment to help you out but we live on the ground floor. This may inadvertently weigh the outcome in Milara's favor rather than provide objective data.
