Well for children's week I picked up an orphan... and I decided to keep her as my ward... haha sponser her as she starts getting training as a blood knight in Silvermoon. I took some pictures as I was showing her all around... here they are:
Here's a picture just after I picked her up from the orphanage. It was a lot of work getting her to stand still long enough for me to snap the picture. hehe
She asked to see the dark portal, so I took her to see it, being careful to keep her away from those nasty ol demons, of course.
I had a goblin take this picture of us as we posed in front of the dark portal. He offered to upgrade my camera to an Ultra Camera X-Treme for a reasonable price, so I took him up on it.
Next she asked to see the Throne of Elements because she was considering becoming a mage or warlock and wanted to get a feel for the elements. So of course, she walked up and touched ol Flamebutt back there and burned her hand. Oops. But she's ok, my first aid is capped at 375, after all.
She then wanted to go visit the Sporeggar people because she had made a friend of one of them at the orphanage and her people had come to get her... so she hadn't seen her friend in a year. So, they said hi and promised to write or something. I was distracted by some chubby italian guy in overalls running around trying to eat one of the mushrooms and yelling about how it would make him throw fireballs. *shakes head*
She wanted to visit Silvermoon because she had never seen our city on Azerath before and she got distracted by a presence... so she went down under the paladin headquarters and started chowing down on some sweet naaru energy. I wasn't fast enough to capture a picture of the little darling draining the big ugly sucker of energy, but she had herself a good healthy meal of it. Better than vegetables, this arcane magic is, I tell ya. Mmm... ;D
The paladin trainers thought she was cool and asked that she come back for training, so we posed for this picture to celebrate.
I started showing her around the city
I was going to take her to the Mana Wurm Cafe for lunch but she was full off that Naaru energy. Another time, I guess.
I tried to get her to do some hokey pose with me because I thought she'd have fun but she just rolled her eyes and said I was weird. Oh well.
I decided to take the mask off, especially since I was taking her to meet the prince. Wouldn't want to annoy the royalty, you know?
Here I am kneeling before Zod... er... I mean Prince Lor'themar. I was introducing Salandria to him and stuff.
Luckily for her, he wasn't offended by her lack of kneeling.
We needed to head back over to Kalimdor so we translocated to Undercity and then hopped on the zeppelin. She had a great time flying.
She wanted to see the Caverns of Time because she was doing a report for her history class or something like that... I wasn't really paying attention to why.
She thought the place was pretty though, and I agreed.
Of course we had to ogle the dragon, who said something about her not being responsible for what she'd do in the future or something. She'll probably beat him at poker or something... or make steaks out of his kid. I dunno.
So we posed in front of the dragon, of course. hehe
Then I bought her a toy dragon from the quartermaster so she'd have a new toy to play with. She was really happy about that.
Then we looked around the cavern a little more, just sight-seeing and what not.
All in all, it was a fun day. :-)
