Here's a bunch of pictures of the trees by my apartment. Wish I had some pictures of the snow on the trees the night of the storm...hopefully get my hands on some soon.

It all melted, it's 55-60 degrees right now. Problem wasn't the two feet of snow, that's a "dusting" for us, but it has never happened this early in the year. The real problem was snow piling up on trees that hadn't lost their leaves yet. Many branches broke, some trees fell over completely from the weight. A lot of power lines were torn down, which caused 400,000 people to lose power.

If anyone ever asks why do trees lose their leaves, this is why!

Makes me think of the ice storm we had a few years back... That was fucked up too. Good to see things are headed back to normal though.
