What he doesn't mention is that last SS is about 2 seconds worth of text. Add that to the many tells I received...it was worse than leaving lotting on during dynamis.
Kirin's weak though..best he could do was a 2088 deadly hold on me. I got EES for 2250 later that night by some little weasel goblin.
Great job everyone. Back to the bottom of the points list for me and all the pressure's off. Now someone else can worry about kirin being a stingy bastard.

It never ceases to amaze me the sacrifices the Tanks , Mages , and Hearlers make (spam dieing over and over) just so we can all have a little fun. And then they don't much complain about it either.
I would also like to say "Good Job" for planning of our battles. From my perspective it seems very smooth to me and Tempus was dead on with invites. I think I only missed 2 out of a billion Chi Blasts last night.
I salute you EO and even though I can't hang with you all as much as I would like I still love ya!

I am very happy with this Kirin run....many changes were made and things ran smoothly as ever. Very little downtime at all.

Yeah, definitely.
We started faster than usual. We had very little downtime between fights. We had less of the "key" jobs than usual, but managed without problem.
Of course, of all the god fights, this is the one where having an overabundance of melee actually helps things. Once the summons are down, it's just a matter of wearing down Kirin's 2 bajillion hit points.
And yes, thank you for your sacrifices, tanks, kiters, mages, healers.
If it helps, I don't look at it as getting killed, I prefer to think of it as "resetting hate."

Sorry that I couldn't make it last night guys. My damn professor makes us stay until 10 pm. The good news is that I only have 4 more Tuesday nights left. And then I have to figure out how many classes I want to take next semester.
