Found out about a new game being developed called Spore. From the same creator as Simcity and The Sims. I watched a video about it and it looks awesome.

This game looks awesome, can't wait for it to come out, been wanting a game like this for a long time. Played games like Magic Pengel, Amazing Island, and Grafitti Kingdom and they pale in comparison to Spore.

His name is Will Wright, he was the founder of Maxis prior to the buy-out by EA, very shortly after The Sims' enormous success (hence the massive number of mostly pointless expansion packs at almost full game price, I fucking hate EA.) Wright's a genious, I saw the long background video on this the other day and it looks amazing...

I hope they can work out the redundancy of the gameplay, however, or playing through certain "stages" of life on your organism may quickly become tiring. Very psyched.
