Just found first 2 episodes of the new Disgaea Anime, fansubbed by Anime Universe. Found while searching a few fansub websites. Saw the intro and it looks awesome. a.scarywater.net/animeu/ |

Disgaea was a cool game...at least the first one..kinda kiddy..but had a nice sexual perversion to it I liked.

This game has more of a cult fan base because it didn't do that well overall. I got it because it reminded me of final fantasy tactics.

And of course now it's next to impossible to find in stores...
my bastard "friend" stole it from me when he moved... NOT happy... I never really got to play the game as much as I'd have liked to time constraints...

And of course now it's next to impossible to find in stores... my bastard "friend" stole it from me when he moved... NOT happy... I never really got to play the game as much as I'd have liked to time constraints... I have a few of those hard to find games, that sell for 100+$ on Ebay. But, one of them was barrowed, and then stepped on by a drunk room mate. I was pissed. <3 Disgaea also. There is another Disgaea-ish game out ther, but, instead of devils it has angels. It plays around the same time in the world too... Lefuisa ... or something like that Phantom Brave is also a great TBS game. I think its made by the same peopel who made Disgaea. |

the 4 games in the series are La Pucelle Tactics, Disgaea, Phantom Brave, and Makai Kingdom. All 4 games made by Nippon Ichi software. Also heard Riviera for the GBA was part of the series but haven't found anything to connect it. Laharl from Disgaea is playable in Phantom Brave, some basic characters in Makai Kingdom are from Disgaea, Disgaea is also called La Pucelle II, Makai means Phantom. And all the menus, items, icons, and many other things are shared in the 4 games. I have all 4 games plus Riviera.
