Possible Final Specs on PS3

Right from Playstation.com. Here what seems to be the final specs. But...it seems the HDD will be sold seperately. This is something they just posted on their website so it is definetly new info.

Bah! The RAM is fast, but there isnt enough. That CPU will fill that RAM up EZ. Hopefully the RAM is faster than I'm thinking.

And the HD thing bothers me. You design a system and you never know how truly slow its gonna be till you had in a HD.

I agree Krazi...I think it needs more RAM. They are saying that the individual SPE's on the processor will be able to handle alot of the information so that the RAM is only needed to drive the actualy game engine. For example the audio can be handled by one SPE, the AI can be handled by one SPE etc...they say it will reduce the load on the processor and on the RAM. Dunno how true that is..but its interesting.
