I recently bought the Mega Man X Collection, and have been playing through the first three X games, which I loved when I was much younger. The first time I played Mega Man X, I was instantly hooked on it; it was everything I thought a Mega Man game should be at the time, and I played it for countless hours. Along came X2, and many more hours of enjoyment followed. X's armor upgrades were (overall) even cooler than in MMX, with the exception of the totally useless helmet upgrade. And who (that's played the game, anyway) can forget using the Sonic Slicer to cut Wire Sponge in half, just to laugh at the expression he makes? However, I couldn't quite appreciate the game's hero as fully as I should have. I mean, this guy throws himself in the face of danger, at the cost of his own safety, and he does it all for a better world, both for humanity and the Reploids. And I think we all know exactly who this hero is: greenbikerdude.ytmnd.comWere it not for this brave reploid, someone else may have taken that fatal hit, and I think we all know who that would have been.
