Ok. So I am not very good at reviewing/comparing video games. But I will give my take on the XBox's 360 version of FF. 1- I cant play my original character on it (not yet). I figured as much, but I was hoping and praying anyway. 2- You know on the character select screen, the mithras roll around and stuff... They dont do that here. As a matter of fact, you pretty much just get a close up of your character. 3- In game.... Wow... Tight. Crisp. Probably the best words I can use to describe the graphics. I havent gotten a chance to really play yet. But it looks great. I also enjoy the wireless controller... It destroys the PS2's graphics, that's for sure... Can't wait to actually get a chance to test drive it I'll try and get some pics up tomorrow as well. |

XBox gamers are bashing the graphics. Supposeldy they are not up to par with other XBox games.... IDK they looked nice to me lol.

Graphix are not as good as the new generation but we know better and XBOX players do not.
We know that FF is using a 5 year old game engine and the beta starts you at Level 1 in the noob zones anyways. Still it is way better then the PC (anyways then my ATI X800) and the special effects have even more flash to them. The lighting effects are much improved and I have yet to chug although there isn't 200 peeps at the AH to give is a good test. You can see further with the improved draw distance also.
Microsoft released the 360 controller for use with the PC a few weeks before the 360 even came out and I have been using it to play FF so I am right at home with the controller and now hopfully soon I get to play in widescreen! I don't know if it will make me a good player finally but oh well.. lol
Some peeps want to diss it and the 360 and if I haven't played it I probably would to but for me it is a dream come true and you really need to see it on a HDTV with your own eyes to notice the diferance.

I installed mine on 01-15-06. It took me bout 2 hours to download and get updates. Yes it does look better then PS2. I was sent to a beta server called Hydra. It's nice and the game is in true 5.1 digital surround sound. I won't be playing much since its just like starting all over again from scratch lol. Its NOOB city in there heheh. It looks great only I have to wait for the full version to come in May 1st 2006 and then you will be able to use ur existing account on xbox 360. So for those EO memebers who will be getting it for xbox 360 we can all talk to each other by headset yaaaa but still type to those on PS2 and PC. The beta version of xbox 360 has the complete expansion pak for ZM and CoP
