I really wish I could find the link, but a long time ago - I remember reading an official press statement from Blizzard stating that Diablo II: LoD was the conclusion of the Diablo storyline - and that there would be no sequels released. Of course, we all know that it's money that controls the industry... so given the immense popularity of the series, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if they do release another installment some day. Of course, this is the company that's infamous for massive delays (Starcraft Ghost is still up in the air and it's been what, almost four years in development?) - so through a carefully gaurded and highly scientific process - I have determined the release date of the next installment in the Diablo series to be on: May 3rd, 2012. And it will probably be a prequel.
