lets face it, pokemon red, blue, yellow, gold, and silver are still great games... for the frist time in a over 2 years, i picked up my gb color, yes color, and put in red. i remembered imidelty why i liked the game. its so simple, that a 8 year old (thats how old i was when i got my gb poket and red) can play it, but its still hard anough where you have to try to win...
i got to the water gym when i remembered that i had gold (i had silver, but i lost it. and my blue cant remember games). so i put that in, and started to play it. i even told my friend to bring his game so we can battle, and get mystery gifts.
if you think that pokemon was a stupid game, then your either an idiot or you dont know what your talking about. and thats saying something coming from and idiot that dosnt know what there talking about half the time!

hehe, pokemon kicked ass Z always bashed the games even though he never played em or even really watched anyone play em jus cuz he watched like 5 mins of the cartoon over pokemon an would never give the game a chance.
myself i always thought of it as a pretty solid rpg game myself the newer ones have gotten a bit more complicated though with newer pokemon types an all the differnt attack types to go along with it.
hehe, somewhere i got pokemon pikachu, silver, gold, ruby, and emerald.. always wanted that bum to pick up my other GB an play some so we coulda battled an shit, but 5 min of the cartoon i guess got him so he never would even try it

well, i dont blame him, i watched 5 min of the cartoon a few months ago, and i wanted to throw up... ive never played ruby or satfire...

I never gave the games a try cuz the cartoon was lame and because I didnt have the expendable cash to give it a shot.

I got a GB for the holidays. I enjoyed it. Mom gave me a red cartidge. Only to find out my cousin Lee got blue. So we'd play and battle each other with the 10$ we scrumaged up to get a cable. It was fun. Then he showed me the Missingo Cheat. It just became no challange. I got bored of pokemon shortly when we built our best teams and just wound up having ties or close to it. Then we got Gold/Silver. Was a little nicer and longer thats what we enjoyed. After that I just bought a GBA from what cash I had. I picked up Sapphire but it was no fun without someone to battle. So I ditched it two months later. I sold off my GBA and downloaded an emu and roms. I had downloaded an Emerald version a while off to keep myself busy when I couldn't play XI. Saddly it froze after I beat the elite-four. >< @#*@# Pokemon. It was a thing. It still might be. But it'll never be as popular as it was 3~5 years ago.

lol yah the cartoon is pretty damn stupid, coupla the seasons though had a pretty nice intro song, usta jus sit an watch intro then switch off to another channel or maybe jus be too lazy to change the channel an jus watch if u let urself go kinda braindead while watchin it can be kinda entertaining..
but still one shouldnt compare the game to the show.. i mean how many people woulda ever played FFXI after watching FF:Spirits Within, if u went with how the show was an based the game by the show, lol FFXI would prolly now have about 1/3 of the US players left on it, an thats only cuz they on PS2 an dont have a choice if the wanna play online rpg

im sorry to say but i love all pokemon games.......yea i said it....u all are haters...pokemon is the deal...i still play them when i can find them...i used to download the roms...i had silver and gold b4 it came out in america, along with Ruby....in japanese..and i beat the game...i cant wait till the 3D version of the RPG comes out...its goona be ubber and it will most likely save the Nintendo DS....i think im just gonna buy the DS just for the game!!!!!
