;D      WOOT Star Ocean 3 to finally finally be released after like billions of light years in delays at the end of this month on the 31st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol, i will prolly be spendin alot of time with that game as if it was a wife who nags for more attention, but fear not!  i will try to play an hour a day or a few hours every other day.. lol i know i can't be the only one out there who has been waitin on this game to finally come out |

I wouldnt call a solid 8 out of 10 'lackluster'. 82.1% on gamerankings.com to be exact. As a retailer who pays attention to review scores and the reason behind them, Ive noticed that 9's and 10 are getting much less common. Reason why: reviewers are getting jaded. You have to be pretty damn innovative to get 9+. So, and this is an assumption cause I havent read all the reviews for star ocean, Im betting it got an 8 because its a damn good game, but didnt bring many "new concepts" to the rpg genre. If you like sequels, think of how many sequels really did something new, as opposed to refining what was already done.

yep, only thing i think that will cloud my view on the game is how long i have been waitin for it since it has been delayed quite a few times and not jus like 3 month delay either

Yeah, videogames release dates and delays go hand in hand. The most recent annoyance for me is Worms 3D for the Xbox. The PS2 and GC versions came out months ago, but I guess Xbox Live support is giving the developers some trouble or something... The Xbox version has been pushed back 5 times in just the last few months. Im almost regretting not getting the PS2 version, but I wanna play it on Live damnit! It better allow voice masking too, or Im gonna be pissed at the wait. I cant wait to get on Xbox Live, using a little girl (high pitched) voice, and blow someone to hell while saying all the classic worm's phrases!

yea, reviewers are getting really wierd... like in egm.. gave fable an 8/10 ... but all they talked about was how dissappointed they were

man, i have been gettin way into SO3  the game went from awsome to fuckin incredible, the story line is great, lol i leave it at that, don't won't say to much so no spoilers an shit, lol |

As long as my homies keep playing this game im pretty sure I will not buy WoW. Ive waited to long for some certian ppl (Miruuk, Lexxia) to finally bust into the online scene. I ranted to these to so many times about online games and how way different they are from single player games. And look I've created a freak in Miruuk and Lexxia is following in close second. I cant leave this ps2 mofos for WoW. It just wouldnt be fair to myself. Plus Ive meet so many ppl and some that I would call close that as long as they keep playing as well Im in it for the long haul. The more ppl that leave the less competition it will be for me. Cuz ppl will be starting this game up in the future. I still see level 8 Wars out there. So rock on everyone and hope to see you some time soon.

As for SO3, i'll save that for later, definitely going to get it.
right now i'm rocking Tales of Symphonia in my spare time (it's for Gamecube), the story line is kinda slow but you have to know what happens ><!!!!
anyways, i'm definitely staying in ffxi, screw WoW for now, i barely have time for ffxi lately ;/ hopefully my workload will lighten and i'll be able to find some time.

Boooo you people and your distractions...
Got a new router now, one from the ISP Provider, so that will be hooked up most likely on Friday...
The Ps2 has been collecting dust, I went back to FFXI and tried beating all the monsters in the Calm Lands Arena and even played around 50 blitzball matches, then quickly got bored Cause it's too easy with Tidus' Jecht Shot...
I'm undefeated in blitzball for FFX and I'm in 3rd round of a season and when I finish 1st place I FINALLY get the bloody sigil for Wakka's Ultimate Weapon, and also got all his Overdrives from Tournaments too...
Ah well, as long as your all having fun s'all good.
I'm gonna get back to a 500 word essay I have to do for Athletic Leadership on the goal Diego Maradona scored against England in 1986 on Argentina in the FIFA Quarterfinals...... take care all. -HOPEFULLY- see you Friday, or at least some of you..
