Just dropping by to say hi again and see how u guys are doing? Yes, everyone. What is up?
Me.. well, I have been doing A LOT! There's a bit of a long road ahead of me for the last 5 months of this year and it's actually pretty amazing.
I'll start with the basics. I haven't been on FFXI at all really... Infact, Zypher now takes care of my account.. bastard robbed the 30m i had on it, but o well.....no, not o well, someone called Zypher a bastard for me! ;D
No longer have anytime to play, you see... A friend of mine... Her mother died when she was 12 (she's 20 now) and left the house to her father, her sister, and her. Her share of the house is going to be no less than $150,000. With that, she needs a place to live and wants to go to California where her sister is to live with her. She also said she needs a capable roommate. (me) So I have been saving my money for this new life.
Reasons for leaving NY... Simple really, I need a change and don't get along with my parents. Plus, new opportunities down there that I want to take advantage of.
Only thing that'll stop me... She has a problem with her kidney that seems to be getting worse and worse. Even if I play a front that I kno everything will be okay, I'm scared to death for her. Still, keep the faith right?
I've still been gathering video game OSTs. Infact, I just got the Treasures of Aht Urghan OST a week or two ago. Actually listening to the Whitegate town music while writing this topic. Just contact me on AIM if anyone wants.
Ahhh... I miss FFXI a bit. Only thing I do for fun now is play Time Crisis 1, Project Titan, II, III. (I'm sorry, but Crisis Zone was a disgrace) I've actually gotten really good at it to the point where I can go to the arcade and beat the game on 1 credit. I think everyone in the world should play Time Crisis at least once. Even if ur not a fan of the light gun genre, it's something to take into consideration.
Before I stopped FFXI, what have I done........? basically everything that I truly wanted to do. Made some memorable friends, killed all the monsters I wanted to kill, and kept myself occupied for 140 days of my life (playtime). Zypher is going to get me sea so when I come back after I reach California, I will be caught up to date. That, and I'd like to get monk to 75 in Rivero's honor. Speaking of him, he's doing good too. He's addicted to world of warcraft, but u kno how he is... once his mind is made up, that's it. :S
Right now, I am working on getting certified as a true bartender instead of a crappy catering hall (That doesn't require a license), and then I want to work like 20 hours a week bartending, and 16 a week as a grocery store clerk. Only reason for the grocery store thing is because they give medical which i really need actually.

I am also trying to get a job here. I made it through the first tryout in March, and the physical tryout is next month. I soooo want to be a knight, so wish me luck. If I don't get it, that's cool too because of all the training I've done for this, I'm a crap load stronger, actually like the way I look now. Only thing I wish was different about me is that I'm too soft spoken at times...and I need better clothing....haha
Well, that's really all that's been going on in the life of Zekk. Let me know how the rest of you are doing. I am really interested. You know the famous FFXI quote.
