First off: "Within every joke, a truth is told". Joke or not; Photon suceeded in 2 things. First off; making EO look like assholes (more then just Tempus and I >.>).

So; yeah, that looks pleasant. Its the EXACT same as members arguing at a pop, or at an event with another LS.

Second thing he suceeded in doing was bringing attention to himself. Photon signed up on EO boards in April, 2005. Since then his name has never appeared on the points list; because he's never attended a points earning event.

So; he was in line anyway. He's skated by for quite a while, and I think that may be where the claims of favoritism have come from.

Now; next point. He was already being discussed before last night, due to his application (real or otherwise) with OotD. When he came on EO; a vote was taken with online SH's, and the decision was made to break, then talk with him. I broke his pearl; and talked to him.

Breaking first: This was decided because in the past, with not just EO, people have been asked to drop pearls and they dont; or at the first sign of confrontation they unequip EO pearl, and we are unable to break them. Only to come in later and cause drama, leaving before we can break them. You can only break someones pearl if they are currently wearing it. Its the truth folks, sorry; but its a reasonable precaution.

Secondly; Shortly after I broke him, I was in the same zone. Ready to re-pearl him. But he didn't want to hear it.

As others have said before me; we take applications at other HNMLS's seriously. Even if meant in jest. We have reason to, and History has taught us to.

I wont go on; I dont want to incite a wall of text war. But please understand:

1) Our reasonings; and history.
2) This is a game; that we take seriously. Every single level 60 + person on this game has put a ton of time into it; and it is personally offensive to all of us when things of this nature happen.
3) That decisions are NOT a one-person deal. They are always voted upon. No one person can take blame for managerial decisions.

Okay from my perspective here,

Applying to another HNMLS is against the rules joke or no joke. I personally don't understand
why you would make it as a joke in general, sounds like someone's almost got as pathetic as
a previous member lieing bout gender then wondering why the person they were after blisted them
and is now POSTING ON KI ABOUT IT... but hey what do I know.

As for payout to points, I've been asking and curious about earnings and so on. I understand its
based upon payout earned but what frustrates me is this week I can't do much as it is LIMBUS WEEK
pretty much and everyone whos willing to help me get promys wont help due to limbus timing.

I'm at a point more than willing to help as some of you have noticed with raises and teleports no matter
what im doing, even while crafting I drop everything to go help- you saw that one first hand Tempus. But ya know what, seriously I see some massive commercialism involved in this. I always believed if you let someone into the linkshell they were like family. Yes you may want to slap them from time to time for doing something stupid but no matter what they'll still be there for you. I have learned so much from so many of you in a short amount of time, I have stood up to OOTD, HOF,vertigo, naked even HEIII, not knowing past storys or situations. I just really think we need to pull together and seriously look at the family list and see whos here for the family and whos here for themselves.

Gael - I could say a lot more but it really isn't worth it to me so I'll just say a few things and let the rest go:

30 points can be earned in less than two weeks if you attend events. Bladez earned it in about that time.

I said I didn't have the time to camp for ToD, I never said I wouldn't show up if you had one. Some people work, and when they come home, don't want to sit around for hours waiting on an NM. I'm one of those people, though I would consider doing it once in a while. If you have ToD, I'll go help out, I'm ALWAYS offering help. Just as I'm sure we could get others to come out had we a ToD and some notice.

A lot of people didn't come into the game with gil. They farmed for it, gardened, anything they could do to make money for spells and gear. If you want help making money, I'd be happy to go farm with anyone and split the gil. I don't have a craft skilled except Bladez' goldsmithing. We can go farm mythril or gold beastcoins / helmets...whatever. But I'm not about to help justify the harassing of ls volunteers to get figures counted out. It's a long, annoying process that I wouldn't be at all happy to do myself.
