The skinny kid from the 70's show is playing Venom in the new Spiderman. He is a decent actor and looks like Spiderman alot... I hear Superman is an awesome movie too... >.>

It had better live up to the comics... Thats kind of a big part in the series, if they screw it up i'll hate the movie. I wonder how far they plan on taking it though... if they'll get into Carnage at all.

I would be fucking shocked if they did Carnage and the Seperation Anxiety storyline. (Maximum Carnage.. please?). Mainly they can't do Carnage because they wouldn't be able to do it correctly with anything less then an R rating. But from the clips they're doing the true to comics Venom origins. I wont go into it As for Topher Grace doing Venom, I was apprehensive at first, but he has bulked up alittle bit. In the comics Eddie Brock (Venom under the suit) was a body builder. I haven't seen shots of Venom yet, but I'd imagine (hope) he's be all CGI. The official trailer show's the Symbiote seperate, and just looks AWESOME. See the official trailer here_Code

I went and saw superman last night, I personally didn't like it much. I may be a little biased because I generally hate all things DC comics. I'm a huge marvel fan though always have been. I was most into the spiderman and x-men books but occasionaly checked out others. My favorite x-book overall was the New Mutants which eventually became x-force. The stories were generally very good and they had some awesome crossovers. I just watched the trailer for spider-man 3 Code posted though and holy shit it looks amazing... I really hope that they keep the story close to the comics, but I won't be disapointed either way.

Skip ahead. John Jameson was heading into space in part 2. I'd imagine Secret War's is a bit much, but the basis of origin would still be correct, and John Jameson will be bringing it back with him.
also of note, Eddie Brock was mentioned in the first and second film. (tho so was the Lizard's human counterpart, Carnage's human counterpart, and several others.)

I'd go see Secret Wars if they made it into a movie! It wouldn't be so boring if they crammed it all into 2 hours.
