This is my favorite time of the year. It is playoff time!! How can you beat the NBA playoffs and the NHL playoffs going on at the same time? You can't. This year, both leagues are delivering action packed seires'. From the underdog Oilers to the star studded Miami Heat, wether you prefer the hardwood or the ice... You can't go wrong with either of these series'. Edmonton and Carolina are all tied up at 3 games a piece. Edmonton was the number 8 seed team in the Western Conference. They have managed to make it to game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals without there starting goaltender. Who will take home the Cup? Will Edmonton burn the city to the ground win or lose? The series wraps up tonight! www.nhl.com/ ============================================= Last night, Miami Heat's D. Wade took over in the 4th quarter and overtime to carry his team to a 1 point victory over the Dallas Mavericks. The young superstar hit a finals record 21 free throws. He also had 43 points for his efforts and is already starting to draw comparisons to NBA legend Micheal Jordan. The heat lead the series 3-2. The action resumes in Dallas, Tuesday night. www.nba.com/finals2006/index.html
