edit: Also, I dont know this debate on the bank balance, but why is that so important? Personally, I could give a shit what the bank balance is. It doesn't help me in any way. I get a payout each month that i'm greatful for. Anything else, not my business. I dont lead this LS, honestly I couldn't. I have no idea how much money the company I work for has. I have no idea how much money my parents have. Its none of my business. No need for drama around it.

Well guess this is just a good a place as any to post this, I will be dropping my EO pearl as well. I've know Imoh and Aerya longer than anyone in EO and are the reason I applied for EO in the first place and I told then that if they ever left that I would go with them and that day has come.

I have no idea what happen in the SH section nor do I really care because it is none of my business anyway.

I hope evrything goes well for EO in the things you do in the future and I hope no one holds any grudges just because I am not in EO anymore because I still respect the LS and it's members.

First things first, the bank

Aerya asked for the bank balance and said he had some plans for it. Tempus said that he didn't know the bank balance and asked him what his plans where. It went back and forth for pages. Aerya insisting on knowing the bank balance and Tempus saying he didn't have an exact figure.

It even got to the point that Imohtep asked for a pic of the bank balance. They even got Bale to post (wich he rarely does) wich implies that they were talking about it in game and trying to rally support for god knows why...

The bank is SeeDBank. It is a character on Tempus' account. We used to store alllll of the gil there. So the gil used for payout and the gil that is our savings is mixed together. This facilitates numerous things. It means there will always be gil for listing fees. It means that when we sell a craftable (like VClaw) for a member, we can purchase the Harness immediately instead of waiting for it to sell.

The way our system works, we payout the gil every month based on gil/point. Unfortunately we have payouts to distribute for members dating back a few months... So all our gil is on one character. Needless to say, it took some time and effort to determine what our actual savings was. All anyone ever wanted was to know what Aerya's plan was before having to go through the effort of calculating our savings.

They eventually got what they want. Our savings is now on Oprhans (a character on my account). I posted pics for them as well. Unfortunately we were not fast enough and Imohtep had already stepped down as SH.

Why do I not post our savings in public? Because I want to be able to use the gil at the discretion of the SHs w/o causing any jealousy, etc. For example, when Morbid made his return I purchased him a Weskit. I have made similar purchases for 2 other -members-.

To make a long story a little shorter. Aerya, Bale and Imohtep are very well aware of how the bank worked. All Aerya had to do was explain what his plans were instead of being so secretive. I don't care what the exact balance is. The majority of us didn't. As long as we had gil to buy sleep pots, pay for Dynamis or pay for w/e expenses we may incur, I was happy. Personally, I trust Tempus fully.

Using the bank thread as an excuse to leave is bull shit. You got exactly what you wanted. A screenshot of the gil. You say that we don't trust you... I believe in this scenario it was a lot easier for you to just simply say what your plans were. Saying what your plans were was easier then figuring out the bank balance. I can say the same as you, why were you being so secretive about your plans? Why were you rallying your friends to defend your point... Don't be so hard headed in your new shell, people won't appreciate it there either.

Not like you guys care about the opinion of a newer member that never got the oppotunity to know you better, but for what it was worth, I looked up to both of you. I considered you model members, not just because of your committment, but because of your consideration for others. I really don't care who said what or did what, and I understand that in the end you both have reasons for leaving, and those reasons are not for me to know.

But all the same, I was hurt to hear that all three of you were leaving, especially Imoh and Bale who I 'looked up to' as SHs with a true dedication to helping others... showing up for events and taking the dirty jobs, when others wouldn't. I lost a lot of that respect, not because of the drama, and not because you quit the shell, but because it didn't have to let it end this way... there were alternatives, and you made the decision not to take advantage of them.

Why be worried about your point balance? I understand how much work and effort you've all put into helping others here, and I still have respect for that. But seriously. If you left the linkshell on good terms instead of pulling some kind of stunt, did you honestly think they would have just stripped you of all your efforts? I'm sure you could have worked something out.

If it wasn't about the points, was it about your friends? Who are your friends? Some of them will follow you, and it will be sad to see everyone parting ways... those people have friends, too. What about those people? I'm not saying you should stay in a place where you feel uncomfortable, but if you stay in the game for your friends, you need to learn what dedication to your friends really is before you just throw everything you helped build in EO away.

You didn't consider others, you copped out. Good luck to the three of you, wherever you go. I honestly wish you the best, but I will be careful where I place my trust from now on.

well, since the other post is locked, I understand u're trying to hide that person's identity jon, too bad during this whole 2 weeks u say we've been recruiting members trained by EO I had that conversation a the incredible number of 1 person
it is true, I spoke to him cause I thought of him as a good friend and I wanted to know his feelings about EO, that's why I asked him how he felt
I didn't bribe or forced anyone else to come to the ls, I didn't offer gil nor I made threats for it
