The present work aimed to carry out an ethnobotanical survey of the species of medicinal plants most used by residents of the municipality of Caravelas, BA, Brazil and to publicize, through a website, which plants occur in the municipality and what their ethnotherapeutic uses are. The data was collected between May and July 2016, the methodology used was semi-structured interviews on the topic with 90 residents.
To publicize the work, a blog entitled “Multipurpose Project: Medicinal Plants” was created, where it was possible to show the progress of this project step by step. In the interviews, we sought to find out what types of plants are used, what they are used for and which part is used.
