Gonna do my best to be on time. At SH's advice I left myself logged in Jeuno, in case you need RDM or SMN for me; I can OP warp there. But more importantly, my car started making a very obnoxious, questionable sound this morning on my way to work, and may or may not need a tow. It started and restarted several times, but I've been advised it may not be a good idea to drive it much before I get to the shop (tomorrow morning). Not so easy when I work over an hour from my home and the shop. Needless to say I can't push my car at all, so i'll be home asap, change gear (if RDM would help more) and be there. But no promises just yet. _Code Yup. Car ass-ploded on the way home. Sound was worse then on the way to work, got to i95 in Wilmington (About 20 min from home), the engine light started blinking, car lagged, critical failiure light came on, and the Car Shut itself down. (Apprently thats a Mazda thing, turns itself off when critical happens). but not before something popped, and my car drained all its oil. Got a Tow, Angel got me to the dealership in time for a rental; (Chevrolet Cobalt's suck btw), and I just now got home. I wont know what the situation is with my car just yet, they'll let me know if Warranty will cover it tomorrow (13k miles under cap for warranty and another 2 years), so cross your fingers for me >.<; In any case, I might have to work late tomorrow since I wont be going in on time, if so I may miss Limbus. Just letting my EO family know. _Code

Update:
My car threw a rod. Which means- ding ding, NEW ENGINE!
They said there was debris and sludge in my oil system (which is funny, cause from what i saw my oil system was on the side of interstate 95), Warranty rejected my claim because I didn't have records of getting my car serviced (because I didn't want to pay $50 a time at the dealership, so I had it done privately.) The only records they have are my first two oil changes.
New motor costs $7,000 + labor. They found a used motor with 13,000 miles on it, but thats $4,300 + $1,200 for labor. {No, Thanks!}
So, the dealership is actually on my side (or so it seems), but they can't go over Mazda's head, so I called Mazda to complain, and get the situation rectified. All I got from Customer Care was Corporate-Speak. I explained that not only did no warning lights go off (Oil pressure light should go off for sludge/debris/blockage before my engine explodes), but I also called the dealership at the first clue of a problem. The dealership told me I was safe to drive but to get in as soon as possible. Instantly Mazda tried to hold the dealership responsible; I explained that wasn't my goal, my goal was to not pour $10k into a car thats barely 2 years old.
Anyway, they escalated it to a regional DM, who will be reviewing my case in the morning. According to my dealership representative, he said the DM that handles them is usually pretty sympathetic and will do what he can to reach a resolution. By this point; and I told them this; Its not even a new motor I care about. I just can't sink that kind of money, because frankly, I dont have it.
So where I'm at now, I've just gotta hope the DM is having a good day tomorrow, and will at least go halves with me or something. Dunno, we'll see. I'll keep you updated.
Keep your fingers crossed for me >.<;;

Update: The DM came out and looked at my car today. Reviewed my information etc. as I was told from my contact at the dealership he's "Mulling it over". What that means is he saw the car, reviewed the information and is working with Mazda corporate to see what kind of deal they can work out. I already made an offer of what I can pay, and he's taking that into account. I should have an answer from him by tomorrow afternoon. Meaning I need to bite another day with the rental. So, not out of the woods yet; but depending on the answer I may be late/absent for Dynamis again tomorrow, if I have to return this rental to go get a cheaper one. I'll keep everyone updated. _Code
