We would like to take a moment to address the issue of people quitting the LS. We all know it happens, we don't like to see people leave, especially ones that we consider friends. Frankly it stings to see someone who we have spent so much time with decide that their path lies elsewhere. Remember, there are good ways to leave, and bad ways to leave any organization, be it rl work, this ls, etc.
Just as an FYI, sackholders and members do check other HNMLS websites periodically. We know when you apply somewhere else. Even if the sackholder's don't see your application, our members may and will often pm the information to a sackholder.
If you have made up your mind to quit EO, please do the adult thing and inform us politely, drop your pearls, and then go hunt for a new home. Do not use us.
Using us while you apply for other HNMLS will only upset people here. Many people seem to think that you need to have some LS equipped always; this isn't true. This is not like a rl job, if you don't have a ls, you can still play the game just fine. Keeping EO while actively shopping around for another HNLS is just rude, please don't do it. Don't sneak out either, have enough courage to let us know you are leaving. With rl interuptions, we never really know if someone has quit EO, quit the game, or just has had things come up and will be coming back. It's only polite to let us know that you quit. With that being said, I suppose that if anyone isn't adult enough to gracefully leave, it's best they leave anyways because we certainly don't want you here with that kind of attitude.

Have you ever considered talking to a sackholder (or multiple ones) about the issues you're having? Are we not doing enough of a certain type of event? Too many? Let us know. If you are the type to never speak up about your concerns and then just quit because you are unhappy... Well we are sorry, but if we don't know there are issues, we can't work to fix them. So please, let us know before it comes to the point of you quitting, we would really love for you to stay.

- Do not bother to justify why you are leaving, it only comes out badly. Just say you have decided to go elsewhere and leave it at that.

- We have an exclusive policy, so do they, don't try to use both LS.
- It won't kill you to be without a HNMLS for the week or two it takes you to get into a new one.
