The Rock has some pretty awesome theme music, up there with the best like Ultimate warrior.
Sakuraba came from one of those hard core japanese wrestling leagues before he got into Pride fighting(MMA) and is one of my faves all time in MMA, up there with Cro Cop, Fedor and Hidehiko Yoshida. I was a big wrestling fan as a kid, but its hard to watch now in the world of MMA. Sucks that Pride is gone now, was miles above the rest. UFC are a buncha greedy bastards

I love the Rock's theme music. Stone Cold as well, DX. But I think this is my all time favorite, I know it's not an original composition but it's still so wicked. More goosebumps when those first notes hit lol... He's still bad ass, idc how old he is!
Holy crap, the Canadian Destroyer is a pretty damn sick move! lol... More head crunching action.
I think the Rock came back because of MMA and because he just loves to be in front of a live crowd. But it's probably getting harder and harder for WWE to compete with the rising success of MMA. The MMA has real knockouts and what not, hard to compete with that.

Someone translate the commentators for me? lol, I'm curious They take the brunt of the bump on their shoulders, and sometimes they will sneak a forearm in to absorb some of the impact. It's a dangerous, but the wrestlers working the King's Road style never seemed to have neck problems (which seem to run rampant in WWE). Two years ago though, Misawa died in the ring after working a back drop suplex. Basically his upper vertebrate shattered and paralyzed him completely. He was 46, overweight, and planning to retire at the end of the year. He was pushing himself and fighting high profile matches despite his worsening physical condition. |

It looks dangerous, they are doing a good job of making it look like all head and neck shots.
WWE/WCW is notorious for neck injuries. For awhile, I believe they were even considering banning the super kick and pile driver.

I thought she might be a Quebecer for a second. With a last name like Fournier. But she's from Delaware iirc... Her face is meh but I guess because she is a Wrestler, it makes her hotter lol... I'm still getting used to the controls I think, I find them weird. But Big Show took a nice pounding in that sequence hehe. I give the game a solid 8! |

I plan to plat Super Street Fighter IV, but the trials are incredibly difficult and it will take me some time. I lent my copy of XIII out, I'm anxious to attack that as well. If I recall correctly, I was somewhere around 50%. I have legends of Wrestlemania here as well haha, I'm missing two trophies for that Plat and I'm thinking of getting on that soon. That games gameplay is kind of shitty but the videos are pretty damn fun to watch. I'm also considering picking up the next WWE installment: www.wweallstars.com/ It looks interesting, a little more of an arcade feel to it. I'm hoping it's fun |
