I know the past week has been rough with guild leaves, and I hate to do the same. I do realize I have been in the guild for almost 2 years this coming march and for make to make this decision was a tough one. We have taken hits like this before with people leaving a recovered, but I do feel it will take some time to get back to the point at which we were (which i know you guys will get there!). I am someone that wants to push progression, so the idea with the 10mans and the recent discussions that have taken place I just don’t agree with. In my opinion we were a 25man guild and should be the focus if you want to be here. So in my eyes an argument about 10mans shouldn’t really even be need. I think personally that if you wanted to do a 10man you could grab the people and do one regardless of an officer or not which is how it was pre-25mans when the expansion came out. I do realize the gear is the same for both 10 and 25mans, but to me if the gear in 10s was not used with epgp that still shouldn’t give people and incentive to do 10mans and not 25s. If so, they are all about the gear and not the challenge. For me, 10mans have been some of the most fun times I have had in the guild all the way through wotlk but I am afraid I just don’t agree with this balancing part. If you have ever in been in a group with me, its been fun. All my other thoughts I have addressed to people directly. Unfortunately, I just think it’s my time to leave.
This is probably the longest I have ever been in a guild and I respect a lot of the people within it. This choice was not easy, especially after talking to a few people in the guild. Believe me it’s not the people that are making me leave, it’s just the fact I would like to do more with cata at this time and if that means joining people that want to push progression even if it’s a 10man guild with an optimal group to do so, then that’s what I will have to do. I have enjoyed all the time I have spent in EO and want to remain close to everyone within the guild. If hacking g-chat was an option I’d be all over it. I hope you guys continue to do well and excel throughout the expansion.
