Sorry guys, I know this is just a bragging thread but I'm SO happy because I'd been dreading/looking forward to Maat since I first heard about him at 20ish...but last night/this morning..
I pwnt that old geezer and kicked his wrinkly butt back to Ru'Lude Gardens to listen to his musac and talk to that depressing moogle about the good ol' days.
For reals! I was shaking like crazy! 1/2 ^^
For my follow future Maat Mashers in the shell, the only advice I can say is that bind is your best friend, and bring in a vile elixer +1 just in case your chainspell gets screwed and you have to use more mp than you, otherwise, would have needed to -.- Bastard chainspelled right after me and I had to sleep him through it >.<
Also, if something gets resisted once that isn't completely necessary, don't bother with it again. I wasted MP casting gravity and silence more than once. Ah well. He also has about 2600 hp.... if you're counting.. >.>;

If you want I can give you an exact play-by-play of what I did.. but all I can suggest is keep bind on at all times, only wake from sleep when your bind timer is close to recast, and stay calm.
