Gametrailers.com
They usually have pretty good video reviews on most new/big releases.
They said the game is decent but there are some technical issues. If you are a fan I'd get it for sure.

good lookin out boys ^^ damn, I'm a huge fan of the series but I'm so iffy on the 3d thing you know? I like my castlevanias to be 2d! the trailer looked like GOW though so I was willing to give it a try. SOOO mooks, how's fallout vegas then? I guess I could just wait a few more months and save up so you and I can party with midgets.

The new castlevania is like a hybrid of God of War and Uncharted. They said the combat is probably the most fun part of the game, the platforming has some technical issues but is passable. So there you go I only played a few hours last night. So far its pretty good, its kinda the same as fallout 3 but better. If your computer can run vegas I'd def get it for the pc, that version opens up a crapton of mods and addons that you cant do on consoles. The system requirements are pretty low too I think. (Steam ftw)

This.
Also, this.
I'm a huge fan of the "metroidvania" genre. The GBA Castlevania titles took the SOTN formula and tried to flip it a bit with varying results, but we haven't had a really good modern one since Shadow Complex for the Xbox Live! Arcade.
