With the new 2011 core set just around the corner, there's talk of a new Magic "season" starting up in the next week or so. Haven't announced it yet because we're still working out the details (pointbuy vs. draft, etc.) but it is likely that Delacroix (Andrew) will be heading it up this time... I anticipate being extremely busy for the next month or two.

My entire family is effectively moving into my tiny 2 bedroom condo until like September to help set my little sister up for college, so I imagine privacy, free time and sanity will all be at a premium for awhile. They get here on Thursday.

We kicked Fischer out of our house. And, out of all our friends. You would be most welcome to take the unoccupied room downstairs. There are a choice of community colleges to attend within driving distance.

And no hurricanes / all your family. I'm sure you'll actually 'try' to get a job, as Fischer didn't even attempt it. We can talk more about it, if it strikes you as a idea.

I get to see them about once every two years, so I'm actually looking forward to it. I'm just not looking forward to giving up the master bedroom for 2+ months since I'm such a light sleeper and will be out in the living room. lol

I don't have any plans to leave Tampa in the near future. My little sister will be down here and attending university in Sept., my older sister still lives with me. Since we've basically been living away from our little sister for like 5 years (even longer for my older sister,) and only getting to see her every other summer, we're actually looking forward to her being so close by.

Job prospects are pretty terrible here, but I just got wind of a new contract opening up with a major computer company. Can't really talk about it yet, but keep your fingers crossed for me.

Regarding the magic thing, I'll talk with Andrew sometime tonight and see what he thinks about it. If he doesn't head it up this time, I probably will, but it will be a bit slow getting off the ground with all the stuff I have going on right now. Either way, I should know what's happening with it by Friday, so if it looks like it's happening, I'll probably draft an announcement a little early.
