Aliens vs Preditor

Man should be playing this right now. However gamestop screwed my order. The originals by sierra were 2 of my favorite fps games. Hope this one lives up to its predecessors

I heard very mixed things about the game.

The three different playstyles on the campaign are cool but the story is poo. I heard the multiplayer is kind of fun though and perhaps that's the main reason for the game.

single player at least as the marine has been really fun. and pretty tense. the graphics are excellent even though i've been having to play in DX9 mode instead of 11(waiting for new drivers to come out from nvidia) Though I have played some single player in DX11 and it is amazing looking. Though a little too buggy with current drivers?? for MP mode. THe different game modes for multiplayer are all fun except for predator hunt mode. Though at the moment without the dedicated servers up yet it can sometimes take a few to get a game up and running dcepending on the time of day. In some ways I feel AVP2 was better than this one, but at the same time there is a lot of good for this one too

It's true though the main focus of the game was multiplayer. However they still need a patch or so to add in some new features for it. I know I would like to see a way to rank yourself depending on which race you want to play so you are more likely to get your preferred race in some of the game types. All I can say though is I purchased this game to play as the colonial marines. Not the Aliens or the Pred. So I get a lil unhappy when I have to play the other 2
