So I haven't played any considerable length of time since Tuesday. I have the flu right now (just regular flu I think, not h1n1) and I just really can't concentrate on any one thing long enough to really play, even at like 1/2 capacity. I've been cancelling my raid signups on a day to day basic b/c I'm not sure when I'll be ok again. It sucks, my temperature have been 101 (w/ tylenol) to 103.5 (when it's about to wear off) for four days straight now.

I can't drink any water w/o sweating it immediately back out... really hard keeping myself hydrated. Anyways, just letting you guys know where I am since I don't usually go AFK for any length of time like this. I felt good enough to do a few dailies this morning, so maybe that's a good sign? I dunno, I feel pretty ass-tastic right now again though. Anyways, I'll be back when I'm back, I guess. Hopefully sooner rather than later. -Grim

So as it turns out, regular flu hasn't hit my area yet, so what I have IS most likely Swine Flu. Woo-Hoo. Anyways, still hasn't gone away, just updating. Been almost a week now so hopefully this will be wrapping itself up soon. I don't feel that terrible, all things considered. Just tired of being soaked in sweat all day. -Grim

Unfortunately, once you already have it there's nothing they can have you do but get rest, stay hydrated, and wait for the fever to break. It's a virus so there's no medicine for it.
