So I'm going to attempt to put together a Blood Elf costume in six days. This is going to be interesting.
I was wondering if anyone knew of some patterns or has done this before and know what to get and what is the most effective/fastest way to do this.

Your in Boston. I would go check out Boston Costume/The Garment district. Supposedly they have really great costumes/costume parts for relatively cheap.
Do you have any pics of gearsets/themes that your interested in looking like. I have done some costuming in the past and might be able to help come up with some ideas.

Lol. I actually think that I am going to work on this outfit over the christmas break where I will have a sewing machine. For halloween, I think I might hand sew a tabard and wear it with my ears and some boots. I hate not having a sewing machine up here.

Oh a sewing Machine... that opens up SOOO many more possibilities than I originally had in mind... For starters... I know that McCall's has alot of Lord of the Rings patterns. You could probably find one of those and adapt it with different colors/trims.
I was originally thinking of something built out of craft foam sheets over a Bra and dark Leggings. I would probably form the shoulders out of Crayola's Model Magic painted once it was dry. Using costume Football shoulder pads for the support if I could find them.
Damnit. Now I want to make a Halloween costume!
