haha yeah i did a little research and found that alot of other people were having the same problem, it just didn't occur to me since i borrowed the game from a friend, i figured he just fucked it up. already on chapter 11 since i posted that

It took them almost 2 weeks to get a patch out.

yeah, ended up just beating it last night. I think the reason I didn't like it at first was because I wasn't aware how battle intensive it was going to be. I was under the impression it was more like an american made metal gear solid rather than a prince of persia style shoot'em up. Either way, now I'm very much looking forward to uncharted 2, i heard they just made the multiplayer demo available for download... If it's free i'll pick it up
