Found out that a few days ago someone used my checking account to pay for some adult website, they had the routing number and everything. It wasnt me or anyone in my house >.>

The only things I bought online was something off of Steam, and a subscription from AoC. We called the company and they said the sub was bought with a check and not my CC.

I have a paypal account linked to my checking account... is it possible that is how they charged the money? I looked up the recent transaction history and saw nothing there.

I also got a very nasty virus a few weeks ago but I dont save any CC info on my computer, and wiped the HD/reinstalled windows within a hour of getting the virus. Ive ran AVG scans of my computer and not found anything. I cant rule out the possibility that I got hacked but it seems very unlikely.

Just accounts. Possibly a keylogger? have you ever had to type in your CC info into any websites since that virus?

Just a general information. Running virus scan doesn't necessarily mean you 100% safe. Virus scan check virus by using signature code for example if a virus have a code of GJE and the program has a code that is similar to GJE the program will read that as a virus.

Did you use any mobile equipment like wireless during indoors or outside while you doing stuff like internet transaction? Hacker will be able to get information of your account via data packet you transmit.

My dad is a moron and bought a wireless router even though he has a hard line to all the computers in the house.

Ive only typed my CC info in twice in the past 6 months. Once to buy something on steam, once to sub to AoC. Never typed any check info in other than paypal bank account link 1 year ago.
