Some us have been proud to wear the Green since the beginning,
and a lot have joined since we landed on Fenris -
but it's your continued efforts that keep EO going forward and strong as a guild that sets out to accomplish goals while having fun and making fun of Aeri's absurd bust.
On Monday, June 22nd, 2009 - will be the 5th anniversary for EO. To celebrate these 5 years, we will be holding a contest. We are looking for Screenshot/Slideshow Entries as well as a photoshop/graphic design job that commemorates EO and its 5 years.
The winning entries and runner-ups will be immortalized on these forums and added to EO's memorabilia + future forums threads as well as earn their designers a large sum of gold (depending on how many enter and quality of work, up to a few thousand gold).
Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to participate - whether you've been in EO long enough to know what a Linkshell is or if you've joined just last week and are enjoying your time so far.
The past helps define who are we, but the present defines who we will be. What is EO to you? This is the theme for the screenshot/slideshow entries. Show us what EO is or means to you.
Tips/Inspirations:
-EO's colours are Bright Green and Black, like these forums/our tabard.
-WoW has Orphanages/Matrons/Patrons.
-Kill Shots.
-Group Screenshots
-We've been on WoW/Fenris since mid-January, 2007.
-5 yr based
-Future aspirations/past glories/present delights
-photobucket.com can host screenshots as well as make Slideshows. Windows Movie Maker is a fairly decent Slideshow editer as well (you could add special effects, captions and background music) and could be hosted on Youtube or Google movies.
-You can submit 1 Screenshot or a series of Screenshots if they're themed, as you like - it's for fun.
-Captions or text in between ss are encouraged.
-For the Photoshop/Graphic Design, the site can really use an assortment of new Logos/Banners/Medals.
-Ask a Mentor/Officer if you've questions and they can try and point you in the right direction.
Initial Deadline is Monday the 29th, so try to post or pm your entries before the week of the Anniversary ends
