Like most of my posts about this game they all revolve around something chivalric or prejudice, or just something completely messed up and a real bonehead move to do.

In which sense, brings me to the Noob VS Terribles (For those who dont know that term, its people who really just cant play good)

In the sense is it right to exclude a Noob from raids simply cause he/she doesnt know the fights or doesnt know what they are doing.
If your answer is yes than answer this next question. Did you honestly know what you were doing since day 1 of this game? or did you start just like that noob and grow into the good player now. In general, should we shun the nub, or teach him what we all know?

The other thing is a terrible, that is a person who just cant play. Example (Sorry for this, Sialeeds, and everyones favorite rogue Hellmonkey) Now i can see where a person doesnt like to play with this kind of person, but at the same time do you really have to be a prick to them just cause they dont grasp or understand the jist of the game? I personally dont mind carrying that persons DPS, healing, or Tanking. But as for those who would rather say "Wow he sucks *Party boot*" Is that really fair? (Example: Getting kicked cause you cant hold agro, or exceed 1300DPS) as much as we love good players, you gotta face the fact not everyone is good at games.

That being said i would love to heard your guys/girls opinions on this conflict in our modern gameing world. How do you think of these 2 factors and why do you think that.

For raids:
There's absolutely no excuse not to know a Boss fight in a raid. If you don't know the raid's encounters, then unless you were unexpectedly asked to come, you shouldn't be going. If you knew in advance you were going, you had all the time in the world to read up on the fight.

If you don't know how to play your class (rotation, gem, enchant, etc,) then you don't belong grouping in anything beyond a regular instance. The same way learning a boss fight should be done on your own time, it's also expected for you to learn your class on your own time as well.

If the issue is you know your class, you're just not that good at it yet, then great - you should practice more in Heroics every chance you get while signing up for raids with the understanding someone more experienced may be picked over you. If you're so bad at your rotation or your role's concepts that you're a liability to your group - then this brings us to:

Regular Instances. Doesn't really matter how bad or inexperienced you are, you're not likely to ruin a group. So practice/enjoy playing for the fun of it here.

With that said, I'd be happy to help carry someone who underperforms as long as they're humble and committed to improving. If they try and try to improve but just can't, then ah well, at least they tried, and if they're a good person then I'd be happy to help them have fun.

If someone thinks it's fine to do really poorly and be carried, or they do really poorly but their ego's too large for them to realize it, then they can play by themselves.

Noobs can learn, I dont mind them.

Terrible players cannot learn, I'd rather not play with them. I play for fun, and wiping 3 million times b/c joe cant do his job = not fun.

A player that fails at playing but has an avid desire to learn will always do better than a player who fails and thinks he/she is god's gift to heroic parties.

One of the great strengths of EO in my opinion is the willingness of so many people to help those who want it. All you have to do is ask for help.

I have been posting the WWS reports for a purpose. If you want to improve your DPS you can look at it and see how your rotation differs from the rotation of someone above you. If you don’t understand how to look at it. Then …. all you have to do is ask for help.

We do expect you to read up on the boss fights ahead of time. With that being said if you have read up on a boss and still don’t get it, or have forgotten which boss is which then speak up. The most important aspects of a fight can be summed up in a few sentences. I would rather you ask and people chime in on vent then to wipe because a hunter forgot not to use arcane shot on Krosh. Again…. all you have to do is ask for help.

Maybe you are confused by what gear you should be seeking, what enchants you should be using, or what spec is best for you. There is plenty of information out there, sometimes too much. Hey guess what….. all you have to do is ask for help.

Are you a victim of [Failbot]? Do you have tunnel vision so bad that you can’t even see the train barreling through the tunnel at you? Then guess what? You don’t EVEN have to ask, just show up on Sunday or tell me when a better time for you is.

So how do I feel about Noobs vs. Bad players?

The same way I feel about all players, even players who do good DPS and have raided for years. There is ALWAYS something that everyone can improve and as long as that noob, or bad player, or veteran raider is constantly striving towards self improvement or the improvement of EO as their goal I will respect them and run with them. People who think they can no longer contribute to improvement become stagnant and are no more an asset to the bigger picture of EO than the noob or bad player that no one is helping.
